Dreams of Destiny is the first title of the Kingdom Hearts: Tadhana's Journey trilogy. It is properly stylized as KINGDOM HEARTS: Tadhana's Journey - Volume 1: Dreams of Destiny, following the abbreviation of KH:DoD on social media. It is a fanfiction anthology series based on the role-playing video game series Kingdom Hearts, with the title developed by Square Enix, following the collaboration between Square Enix and Disney Interactive Studios under the direction of Tetsuya Nomura. The trilogy is created by Issie M. Hansen, listed under the username aliases Cecilisabeth16 on Booksie and GuardianTadhana on her socials. Kingdom Hearts is a crossover of various Disney settings based in a universe made specifically for the series, where Disney characters from their notable films interact with the main character. This also includes some character appearances from a variety of Square Enix's Final Fantasy series, typically from titles that Nomura previously worked on, including another Square Enix video game title, The World Ends With You. In the Tadhana's Journey trilogy, the main character, Tadhana, will be traveling to worlds and interacting with every main cast of every Disney and Pixar film and Final Fantasy title up-to-date, along with The World Ends With You titles. The series of Drakengard and NieR, and the films from Studio Ghibli, will also be mentioned in her story. Specifically in Volume 1: Dreams of Destiny, it will mainly focus on the films of Disney/Pixar and Studio Ghibli, along with the original worldscape created in aspiration to the Kingdom Hearts universe. It is noted by the author that even though that this fanfiction anthology is heavily inspired by the universe and the concept of Kingdom Hearts, the main character and the main story does not overlay with the original characters and timeline of the series.
Overview
Like the Kingdom Hearts series, Dreams of Destiny features a mixture of familiar Disney and Square Enix characters, in addition to the inclusion of Disney/Pixar and Studio Ghibli characters within their respective worlds based around their films. Some new locations and characters mentioned throughout the first volume will be created and written by Issie. Though the trilogy features locations unique to their respective films, the worlds are heavily explored and are seen through Tadhana's experiences as she visits these worlds and interact with the main cast to protect them from enemies. Often, Tadhana's actions in these worlds follow closely to the storylines featured in their respective films. It is mentioned by Master Kaluluwa, Tadhana's master and guardian, that their main duty as a Lost Star is to "restore the World Order", as the enemies known as the Blights are seen as "servants of Chaos" whose only goal is "to disrupt the Balance of Fate." As such, it is noted that Tadhana and Kaluluwa often have their forms changed to conform easily in each new world they travel to, just as the Blights do, for them to camouflage as deformed creatures of whatever world they infiltrate. Concepts such as magic and synthesis are followed as described in the universe of Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy. The combat, weaponry, and outfit formchanges are also as followed in terms of the Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasty universes, such as Drive Forms and Materia, respectively. Creatures such as Moogles and Chocobos that are common in the Final Fantasy universe are seen to be familiar in Dreams of Destiny.
✧ Creation and Influence
The Tadhana's Journey series is written by Issie M. Hansen, who also created the main cast and other original characters of the trilogy. Issie has stated that Tadhana went through various changes in the span of fourteen years upon the idea of her being conceived, to which Tadhana had four other identities before she was finalized in 2020. She said that while character designs are one of her favorite things to do, it is also one of the most difficult things for her to make it concrete as a writer. Issie would mention how Tadhana's design started off by the mysterious girl shown on the Secret Ending, Another side, Another story... along with her own self at the time, around the summer of 2008. The character concept is conceived through her lucid dreams after Issie played Kingdom Hearts II, introducing her to the Kingdom Hearts series for the first time. The character was named Mai, after her middle name, but she would be unnamed later on after Issie distanced herself from the character and forced herself to dream the character separately in various Kingdom Hearts-inspired situations, as she got terrified of dreaming herself in a different body and being placed in "dangerous, life-threatening" circumstances. Issie would then base the character design off a dream version of Tadhana, with her origins taken place in the events of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, a few months after the game's release of the Re:Chain of Memories, the remake of the first mentioned game title of a similar name. The character is under the name Aquasia, or Aqua, for short. The concepts of Aqua being connected to Castle Oblivion and Organization XIII came up in her series of dreams with the new character, and Issie enjoyed it a lot with a great desire to expand it. However, due to complications of close comparisons to other canon Kingdom Hearts characters being released in future titles, Issie dropped the concepts and the character. The design would then change in 2016 following the release of the mobile game title Kingdom Hearts: Unchained X, under the name Kaluluwa. After losing her gaming process a year later, Issie changes the character again after finding it too similar to another canon character in the mobile series. The final changes happened in 2018, where the name now changed to Malaya. Issie has stated to feel great frustration that her character can never seem "original" enough to her liking, but she still remains dedicated to the Kingdom Hearts series while working on other projects, such as more original stories. Around October 2020, Issie revisted the app after putting it on hiatus for four years while playing the mobile app game, Twisted Wonderland, where she redesigned the character one final time and have her named as Tadhana in both games. Issie also made the character public on socials before the end of 2020 through the beginning of 2021, finally feeling satisfied and confident to find others who enjoy the games like she does. Main themes Issie stated to enjoy having for her characters are for them to be a young child lead of Asian descent with amnesia and/or have some type of disability for them to overcome later on in their journey, as she is able to personally relate to them more when writing their stories. This continues with Tadhana, as her journey starts when she is found washed ashore with no memory of herself or her past and happens to be left-handed, which is considered a rarity during her time. The concept of a young child lead originated to Issie's admiration to Hayao Miyazaki and the work of films in Studio Ghibli portraying the theme. Issie also stated that she knew she was being ambitious on trying to include a majority of Disney films and Final Fantasy titles up-to-date, but the idea of having to choose specific ones to leave out was even more difficult than to just write an idea for each one. She kept finding new ways to make each world memorable and to have some type of lesson or development for Tadhana. This spurred the idea for Issie to write a concept chapter for at least each of her favorite Disney, Pixar, and Studio Ghibli films, so she conjured up 85 chapters, which then helped her write out the majority of Volume 1 and how the flow of the first book is supposed to be planned out for her and the readers. The inclusion of specific Final Fantasy characters in Volume 1 was based after plotting the chapter for Volumes 2 and 3, to which Issie decided to split the Final Fantasy titles into three main groups, with Volume 1 consisting of the first six titles. She believed that revisiting characters and their stories of the first six anthologies fit a better setting for Tadhana to transition from a medieval fantasy setting to a world with prominent steampunk influences, which would help her better adapt to the various Disney, Pixar, and Studio Ghibli films she travels through. Seeing how much depth goes into the chapters, Issie created sections dividing up certain events per chapter. This is due to Booksie having a 100-chapter limit on books, and it makes it easier for her to go back and reread previous events within the same chapter whilst editing and writing. The section dividing titles were inspired by the Kingdom Hearts journal chapter titles seen in the menu, specifically the cutscene movie chapter titles from Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days that illustrate the entries in Roxas's Diary. She stated that if the sections make it easier for her to disgest elongated chapters and for her to go back to reread certain moments in a chapter, she hoped the same goes for the readers for the trilogy.
✧ Aspired Gameplay Mechanics
Similar to the Kingdom Hearts series, the Tadhana's Journey trilogy would illustrate both 3rd-person fighting and role-playing game elements, with the party allies from the various worlds rely fully on A.I. controls as they aid the main character during battle and various side quests that are necessary of their availability to progress. The combat system would take on real-time, meaning that Tadhana could engage the enemy directly with various actions, such as attack and magic, which are executable during or after battle. If a specific attack is needed to officially end a battle, Tadhana and any other party allies involved would trigger a special Reaction Command in order to progress the story. The main attack system would be a combination from the titles Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II. As Tadhana and Kaluluwa do not travel to different worlds by a Gummi Ship like Sora does, the concept is carried through their Astral Portals as they ride on their Keyward Gliders, which is similar to the concept of Keyblade Gliders from Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. Each main original Keyblade of the Tadhana's Journey trilogy that Tadhana earns will have their own specialized Keyward Glider design and abilities, but in the book, it will describe her sing her default Keyblade each time. The player would be able to view the list abilities and the blueprints of each Keyward Glider, but they would not be able to customize the design or modify the abilities to their liking. Issie stated that she imagines how each Keyblade has a specific set of abilities and magic and repects the ideology that one cannot change the form of the Keyblade's "soul." Within the battle system of Kingdom Hearts II, there are also Drive Forms, which allow Sora to gain access to new abilities via combat garment or even to wield two Keyblades for a limited time, allowing magic to be simplier to execute and having Sora's HP and MP gauge be recharged automatically once it is used up. Tadhana would execute different Outfit Formchanges that are similar to Drive Forms, to which she is granted various immunities and magic improvements within the world she is granted by the outfit. However, such a concept is not thoroughly explained in the trilogy, only briefly mentioned by Master Kaluluwa once he introduced the Spirit Brooch to her that grants the ability of Outfit Formchanges and other abilities that help her in her journey. In Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, the game introduced several new features to the series, such as the Deck Commands, Dimension Links (D-Link), and Shotlocks. These features would also be mentioned in Dreams of Destiny as Tadhana goes through her journey. Any Battle and Action Commands linked with magic would be synthesized in the Command Matrix and could be equipped by Tadhana, which would then have a certain cooldown time, depending on the depth of the ability; the stronger the Command, the longer the Cooldown. With the Dimension Links, Tadhana would have the ability to summon a character's power from another world, serving its purpose as a link from a different dimension; the power originates from the spell Master Kaluluwa conjures upon the Spirit Brooch. The Shotlock would be a combat mechanic for Tadhana to enter into first-person mode and lock onto enemies to then initiate a powerful attack that hits all targeted enemies, usually linked by a specific magic element or Keyblade she currently has on hand, which would then the Focus Gauge would need to be refilled by any variation of Ethers or Elixirs. Combining either of the three battle mechanics allows Tadhana to unlock a variety of unique Command Styles, which can help her execute a powerful finish command. Synthesis is a gameplay mechanic that involves using synthesis materials to craft various items in the Kingdom Hearts universe, and it is a mechanic that Tadhana can use as well. She would obtain the Synthesis Tome, an enchanted publication that records recipes for potions or magic-infused weaponry that she can not originally obtain from any world she travels to. This also helps her synthesize certain Command Styles in the Command Matrix and Shotlocks that are elemental-heavy. The Kingdom Hearts games are influenced by their parent franchise, Final Fantasy, and carry its gameplay elements over into their own action-based, hack-and-slash system, and as such, Tadhana's Journey would carry similar gameplay. Like many traditional role-playing games, Tadhana's Journey would feature an experience point system which determines character development, just as the Kingdom Hearts series would. As enemies are defeated, Tadhana would gain experience which culminate in a "level-up", where the characters grow stronger and gain access to new abilities, just as Sora would in his main franchise. The amount of experience is shared with all party members and each character grows stronger as experience is gained. As mentioned before, Dimension Links would be used within Tadhana's journey in Dreams of Destiny, but that limits through summoning the power of a specific character from another world. There are also Summons, where Tadhana has the ability to magically call the physical beings of other characters to have them fight alongside her in a different world. This usually limits to specific characters via their own Summon Medals that Tadhana collects after completing the main tasks of a world. Such a concept is inspired from the Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy series, and they are usually individuals that also have the ability to transcend their traveling capabilities to different worlds like Tadhana can, such as Genie or Stitch. Another recurring element of the Kingdom Hearts series is Jiminy's Journal, which helps Sora keep track of all the information he discovers on his journeys through the Kingdom Hearts universe, including sections of a beastiary, character profiles, story plots, world notes, mini-game records, tracks of treasure chests, and hints for the player to progress the game. In Tadhana's Journey, there is Tadhana's Journal, which takes inspiration of Jiminy's Journal and its contents to serve a similar purpose for Tadhana and the player. Like Roxas's Diary, Tadhana also writes diary entries of her adventure from her point of view. Master Kaluluwa also writes of his perspective under Kaluluwa's Reports, to which he keeps track of Tadhana's progress during their training period together. Players would be able to read these entries separately to see the differences of their perspectives during their travels. Seeing how much depth goes into each chapter for the various worlds being referenced, Issie illustrated a concept of Story Books, where worlds are not necessarily overrun with Darkness and are no need of focus to restore their Balance of Fate but can still be visited by Tadhana. This is heavily inspired by the world of the 100 Acre Wood where Sora is able to traverse to after recovering the Torn Pages. However, the concept is simplified to Tadhana finding Torn Books to which Master Kaluluwa restores them via magic. These books can be viewed in either in Tadhana's Journal or in Merlin's Library, where Tadhana can magically enter the world of the books and accomplish tasks that either improve on Tadhana's Attack, Defense, Magic, or Focus points. As such, certain characters from the Story Book worlds are unable to aid Tadhana in a physical or spiritual sense, and as such, their powers can be habored in smaller portions through various Power Chains. These chained charms contain a small portion of magic for Tadhana to absorb to increase the levels her Attack, Defense, Magic, or Focus points. These chains and their improvements would only be effective upon equipping them onto Tadhana's person to "lock the chains of their bonds." A notable feature in the Kingdom Hearts series is the World music, where all worlds have at least one casual field music and most have at least one battle theme. This would be a feature in Tadhana's Journey, and the player could revisit the music through Music Lockets that Tadhana collects after certain mini-games or finds in treasure chests. Certain special Music Lockets would only be earned after accomplishing a certain high score record or meeting specific requirements. The Music Locket collection could be found in Tadhana's Journal or in Merlin's Library.
Story
The Birth of a Lost Star
✧ Found on the Islands of Fate
The story follows Tadhana Abantas, a young girl estimated around the age of six from the Isla of Kapalaran, the main island of the archipelago Propesiyas. She is found washed ashore by three boys -- Pagasa, Swerte, and Tiwala -- who then take her in to their home, where their parents -- Mahalia and Magiting -- take care of her. Upon learning that she has no memory of who she is and where she came from, they decided to adopt her and claim her as their own, for they always desired for a sister/daughter in the family. Turns out that the family is the chief family of the Isla of Kapalaran, who then teach Tadhana of their lifestyle of the island. Through the Abantas's, Tadhana learns more about the Wanderers, a mysterious group supposedly immortal and supernatural cloaked otherworldly beings that would travel to the Propesiyas from another world every summer to perform the Solstice Rite, a ritual where they choose a new child to be a Lost Star. She also learns how she was found washed ashore seven days after the previous Solstice Rite with nothing of importance linking to her past other than her necklace. As she grows up, Tadhana is eager to learn more about the neighboring islands of Propesiys and is curious of other potential islands outside of their own, while also wanting to know more about the Wanderers and the Solstice Ritual. However, her brothers and parents always do their best to shut her down on those thoughts and have her focus on more important matters to improve the wellbeing of the Village. Through the perspectives of her brothers, Tadhana has an unsatiated curiosity, one that continuously grows as she always stretches her time during hunts and ventures off to new areas of the different islands when participating in trades with other chief families. She always asks a lot of questions and wanders off to investigate whatever catches her attention. She seems to find new creatures to hunt and is usually found in the most intense places, such as climbing up trees and leaping off cliffsides to dive further into deeper waters. Her brothers, usually Swerte, describe Tadhana for lacking any sense of awareness or caution to her surroundings through the various reckless situations she gets herself into. That being said, Tadhana has grown to be athletic, and those in the village always express their gratitude whenever she is involved with the tasks of intensive labor. Not only that, she is known to be quite smart and is quick to adapt. Her brothers explain that the first time they took her out to hunt, she somehow was able to outsmart the island's infamous hog, Adobo. They also express their awe and worry when they learned that Tadhana created her version of a surfboard in attempt to venture further from the island and see new potential islands beyond their own, which was exposed by Pagasa when he expressed his excitement too eagerly to the other boys. Upon hearing how well she is getting used to the island and their lifestyle, Magiting passes down his balisong to Tadhana and teaches her Kali, the known way of defense being taught on their island. Mahalia also finds it suitable to teach Tadhana to be a Lunas, a type of healer that are only taught to older women in their thirties who traditionally use the enchanting powers of the White Star Jasmines to create potions as one of the main sources of medicine and goods for bartering with the other islands. While Tadhana undergoes such teachings, Magiting is consistently trying to find more information about Tadhana's origins as she is not known on any of the main islands of the Propesiyas. He also is fighting against the more prosperous islands of the controversy of allowing Tadhana to know two of the most sacred practices of the Propesiyas, with Kali mostly taught to young boys and Lunas being reserved for the older women of the tribes without being properly integrated into the Kapalaran Tribe, such as getting the Propesiyas Markings - the tattoos that illustrate one's paths towards their Fate. As it is learned that Tadhana is left-handed, Tiwala becomes her main training and hunting partner in her tasks, as he is ambidexterous. He has expressed the challenges he faced when teaching her at first were difficult and exciting for him to accept so he could improve his status to be alongside Tadhana when she is chosen as Kapalaran's new chief. Magiting explains to him and the other brothers that he sees Tadhana a potential candidate to take his place and serve as Kapalaran's new chief, in the very case Tiwala is chosen to be a Lost Star, as the Wanderers normally seem to take the eldest child bearing the most talent of survival. Tiwala accepts his potential fate and does whatever he is able to guide Tadhana to be the next chief. At the time Tadhana turns thirteen, she is more comfortable on the Isla of Kapalaran and is told of her new potential responsibility to be Kapalaran's new chief from Tiwala after he expresses frustration on how she needs to focus more on her training and not on things that are beyond her control, such as the Solstice Rite and the Wanderers, with them potentially choosing him as the next Lost Star and her trying to stop them from doing so. Realizing the stakes, Tadhana concedes to concentrate more on her duties and prepares herself alongside her family for the Solstice Rite that is soon arriving in seven days.
✧ Chosen by the Keys of Fate
On the seventh Solstice Rite after her adoption, Tadhana sees the Wanderers arrive on the Isla of Kapalaran from their Astral Portals. Upon seeing the leader of the Wanderers, it beckons the attention of the villagers with their Wills of Fate before summoning the Cor Keyblade, a bizzare key-shaped tool created by Fate to guide the Wanderers to chose the new Lost Star that bears the strong will of Light within themselves for their year-long journey. Upon her necklace and the Cor Keyblade reacting, Tadhana is chosen to be the new Lost Star of Kapalaran, making her the thirteenth Lost Star to be chosen from the Propesiyas. The leader tells her that she is destined to venture to other worlds to protect the balance of Light and Darkness by being their Guardian of Light. Tiwala is utterly upset by the results, wanting to switch with Tadhana and exclaims that she is too young compared to the previous Lost Stars chosen by the Wanderers. He attempts to fight the leader, but he is immediately intimidated by the leader by the complete difference in speed and powerful threatening aura. The leader then reveals itself under the name Kararua after being asked by Tadhana, who fearlessly places herself between the leader and Tiwala. After being introduced by the rest of the Wanderers, Tadhana meets Kaluluwa, a newly recruited Wanderer who is oddly drawn to her. Tadhana rejects the Wanderers and their offer, which is unheard of before for the villagers and even the Wanderers themselves. However, knowing that she cannot deny her Path of Fate bestowed upon her by the Cor Keyblade, Kararua grants her time to prepare herself before she is to depart with them before the light disappears from the island, which is only seven hours until nightfall. This is another occurrence that has never been heard of in the history of the Choosing, for the Lost Stars normally are immediately taken away from their homes and their families. Wanting to make the most of their time together, Tadhana has one last dinner with the Abantas's. However, Tiwala is still upset and runs out, to which Tadhana follows and leaving Swerte and Pagasa to chase after them. They all meet up on the Cliffside and express each of their thoughts through a farewell embrace. However, their bonding is interrupted by the growing dark cyclone, despite it not being the time of the season for them to arrive on their island. Suddenly, Tadhana is tackled by a binturong that she recognizes from a different island during a previous hunt. Seeing how the animal builds up his guard, Tadhana and her brothers soon see Shadows emerge from the Forest that begin to attack them. They all were able to defend themselves and fought together against the Shadows until a Giant Shadow appeared. Swerte, Tiwala, and Pagasa become exhausted and nearly crushed by the Giant Shadow until Tadhana decides to fend it off and protect them on her own. Back at Village, Mahalia is gathering the villagers who are being protected by the Wanderers against the Shadows. Some villagers try to fight alongside Magiting and Kararua against the Shadows but soon realize that their weapons cannot damage them unlike the Keyblades that the Wanderers wield. As Magiting instructs the villagers to listen to Kararua's commands, he sees Tiwala struggling out of the Forest whilst carrying an injured Swerte and a nearly unconscious Pagasa. As he rushes to them, Magiting learns from the boys that Tadhana stayed behind at the Cliffside to fend off the Giant Shadow. Eager to retrieve her, Magiting is pulled back by Kararua and is told that he needed to stay behind with the rest of the villagers to lead them off the island, as Tadhana is now the Wanderers responsiblity. Before Magiting could argue that Tadhana is his responsibility as she is his daughter, Kararua then summons Kaluluwa to retrieve Tadhana to finally complete the Choosing. Kaluluwa struggles to navigate through the Forest as strange visions begin to suddenly rush through. After making it through the clearing, Kalulwa finds Tadhana unconscious of the Cliffside and surrounded by Shadows. After eliminating them swiftly, Kaluluwa feels a strange, painful sensation within the core and realizes the binturong snarling and protecting Tadhana. Trying to calm the animal down, Kaluluwa becomes aware of bearing a physical form and reveals himself to the binturong to show he means no harm to it or Tadhana. After gaining its trust, Kaluluwa notices how the binturong starts snarling again, bringing his attention to more Shadows suddenly appearing. As he struggles to fend off the Shadows while carrying Tadhana on his back and protecting her, Kaluluwa becomes stunned by lightning conjured by a Giant Shadow that formed from the Forest, causing him to toss Tadhana off before being stunned. This allows him to realize more Giant Shadows rampaging across the other islands of the Propesiyas, with some, including the one attacking him, summoning heavy winds, so Kalulwa, Tadhana, and the binturong fly off the Cliffside. Being stunned, Kaluluwa is unable to use his Keyblade or catching Tadhana or the binturong, struggling to find a way to stop themselves from falling into the chaotic ocean below. Suddenly, the sharp pain returns, and Kaluluwa witnesses Tadhana going into the Stellar Shift and summoning her own Keyblade. This state causes her hair and eyes to turn purple and glow with a mystical aura. She conjures up a powerful Water spell that carries them all to shore safely. As more Shadows show up, Kaluluwa prepares himself to fight but is still struggling due to the stun effects still lingering on him. As he struggles to at least fend him and save the unconscious binturong, Kaluluwa is faced by a Giant Shadow. However, Tadhana blocks the attack and defeats the Giant Shadow and the rest of the Shadows on the shore swiftly with advanced magic and attack combos. She falls unconscious once more the moment all of the enemies disappear. Unsure of what else to do, Kaluluwa picks up the binturong and Tadhana and heads to the Village. Upon seeing the Wanderers and Tadhana's family, Kaluluwa reports to Kararua while Tadhana's family takes her with great concern of her new appearance of purple hair. Kararua is shocked of Kaluluwa's physical form, stating that he engaged into a Bonded Chain with Tadhana, an unbreakable vow between a Wanderer and a gifted Lost Star that are known as Quasars. Kararua noted that there have been only six other Quasars ever known within the thousands of years the Wanderers have done the Choosing just before Tadhana, surprised to exist within the same moment of an actual Quasar. Eager to know more about her, these strange visions, and any possible links to his past, Kaluluwa takes Tadhana and follows Kararua's orders to have him be Tadhana's assigned guardian and trainer, as the two of them engaged in a Bonded Chain and must not falter Fate any longer. This upsets Tiwala, who attempts to attack Kalulwa and prevent him from taking Tadhana away. However, as Kaluluwa is now in harm's way, this awakens Tadhana, making her go into the Stellar Shift once again. She begins to attack Tiwala, which causes the rest of her family to struggle fending her off. Before she could hurt her family, Kaluluwa hesistantly knocks her out and takes her away, for Kararua tells him that her island will be restored to its original form into the Light the moment they let Tadhana pass through the Gate of Fate, an astral portal that determines the Lost Star being submitted for the Choosing. Wanting her family to be safe, Kaluluwa listens and passes through the gate, despite the family's conflicted cries. He and Tadhana arrive to Lustrare Urbs, a place of refuge for those that have been lost, forgotten, or left wandering in the stars, like them; it is seen as the main world to take in new Lost Stars for them to study and train with their new Wanderer guardians and Keyblades. Knowing that he has to complete his role as Tadhana's guardian, Kaluluwa prepares himself to partake into this journey of recovering his lost memories and creating a Lost Star.
✧ Balancing the Path of Fate
When Tadhana awakens, she finds herself in a new room, to which Kaluluwa explains what has happened back on the Propesiyas, specifically on her island, the Isla of Kapalaran. Worried about her family, Kaluluwa relieves Tadhana by explaining what Kararua told him that the islands have indeed restored back to their original state into the Light. Once she is comfortable, Kaluluwa presents Tadhana the binturong, who apparently joined them through the Gate of Fate. Happy with the idea of having a piece of home with her, Tadhana searches for other things that she had brought with her, including: a vial of White Star Elixar from Mahalia; the butterfly knife from Magiting; the winged daggers from Pagasa; the stingray whip from Tiwala; and the gold bangles from Swerte. Kaluluwa reminds Tadhana of her new duties she must face as a Lost Star, and as she was unconscious for nearly a week, he advises her to only participate in textbook studies with him at the Library and roam within the 1st Precinct until she is physically recovered in a week. As such, Kaluluwa monitors Tadhana as she does her daily studies and her strolls during her freetime, learning more about basic information to Keyblade wielding and the lifestyle of Lustrare Urbs. Tadhana starts to call the binturong Kasama-sama, and they soon become inseparable. As Lost Stars never usually are accompanied with a creature, this confuses Kaluluwa, so needing to know how to deal with the concept, he leaves to report this and of Tadhana's progress to Kararua more often throughout the week in order to seek advice for his first time being a Lost Star's Guardian. This leaves Tadhana and Kasama-sama alone longer throughout the day, so the two of them venture more into the world, finding themselves in the 2nd Precinct. More Shadows roam around this part of the world, so Tadhana and Kasama-sama are struggling to run away from the sudden crowd of enemies, but they become trapped at an alley that is a dead-end. They are saved by Abian, a Lost Star in training who decides to take them back to the 1st Precinct to help them recover and treat them to cafe that serves Supernova Shavings, a local dessert that Tadhana instantly likes. Tadhana learns more basic Keyblade information, such as how the Stardust Keyblade being the starter Keyblade for Lost Stars to practice summoning before getting the chance to summon other Keyblades from other worlds. She also learns that Abian is from the Isla of Kasawian, another main island of the Propesiyas. Happy to make a new friend, Tadhana leaves Abian the moment Kaluluwa returns and is in search for her. Despite seeing Tadhana's rapid recovery and progress in her studies, Kaluluwa keeps her at a steady schedule until the second week, where he finally takes her out on the field to practice summoning her starter Keyblade against the common species of Blights, the original term for the Shadows that Tadhana and her people call them, creatures infected with Darkness that have parasitic tendencies to overtake Hearts with pure Light in various worlds, therefore, seen as anomalies by the Wanderers. Tadhana struggles to summon her Keyblade until the thirteenth day, finally able to connect her senses to summon the physical embodiment of the Stardust Keyblade. Finding her version of the Keyblade different from the typical design, Kaluluwa reports to Kararua, who in turn explains that Quasars typically have a different variant of the Stardust Keyblade due to their otherworldly connection to Fate. Kaluluwa allows Tadhana to finally practice with the stronger species of Blights in the 3rd Precinct after she is more comfortable with the Stardust Keyblade. This includes her final test to find the rogue Armored Guardian that makes it difficult for residents to traverse into the area. She would also need to work alongside Abian and the eleven other Lost Stars from the Propesiyas in order to take down the Blight boss together. The Lost Stars nearly seems to lose, with Tadhana falling unconscious while protecting Abian. Before the Armored Guardian can attack Abian, Kaluluwa leaps in to end the test, which has never been done by any of the Wanderers before. However, Kaluluwa is nearly attacked by the Armored Guardian until he is saved by Tadhana as she went into the Stellar Shift and summoned her own Keyblade once more. After defeating the Blight, she falls unconscious once more and is caught by Abian, who grows curious about Tadhana and her power. The interruption causes Kararua to be summoned and reminds Kaluluwa that the Lost Stars need to learn how to defend themselves to prepare themselves for the other worlds, to which Kaluluwa relunctantly apologizes after the lecture. He takes Tadhana from Abian after Kararua heals all the Lost Stars after stating that the final exam will be retaken after a few days of recovery and extra training without Tadhana. Karara then summons for Kaluluwa and Tadhana immediately before disappearing into an Astral Portal. Upon meeting Kararua at the Langit Tore, Kaluluwa is instructed that he and Tadhana need to set out to travel to other worlds right away due to believing that her powers are urgently needed after tracking sudden disappearances of stars in the sky, knowing that there are worlds having their Balance of Fate being disrupted. Kaluluwa objects hesistantly due to Tadhana unable to properly summon the Stellar Shift, to which Kararua states that the only way she can grow into her newfound powers if she keeps activating it in highly intense sitations. Understanding as Kararua did it with him, Kaluluwa follows the command and prepares himself to return to Tadhana to tell her the news of their departure after she wakes up. Returning to her room, Kaluluwa tells Tadhana that she has passed her final exam after defeating the Armored Guardian after activating the Stellar Shift. After explaining more about the Stellar Shift, Quasars, the Bonded Chain, and her own type of Keyblade, Kaluluwa ensures Tadhana that he would do his best to guide her to through her transformation. Tadhana connects deeply with the memory of her family in her heart to resummon her Keyblade, to which she names it Celestial Jewel after hearing Kaluluwa stating how her Keyblade seems to consist most of the items her family gifted her along with her Keychain formed from her necklace bearing some "celestial jewel." He then tells her that they are to depart soon while the other Lost Stars of the Propesiyas continue the retake of their final exams in Lustrare Urbs. Tadhana is allowed to hang out with Abian one last time when he came by to check up on her after his tasks for the day and asks Kaluluwa for her. When they go to the cafe and share a Supernova Shavings together, Tadhana tells Abian of her soon departure, as she has supposedly passed the final exam. Saddened because he knows that he won't see Tadhana after he finishes his final exam, Abian gives her a set of Sports Bracelets that he wished to give to her after they passed together. Wanting to give him a gift, Tadhana gives Abian the White Star Jasmine Elixar that she and her mother created together to mark her official title as a Lupas on her island, knowing that the White Star Jasmines are rare on his island and is Kapalaran's main benefactors. They enjoy their time together one last time until Kaluluwa comes by to take Tadhana back to properly rest before their departure. Tadhana, Kaluluwa, and Kasama-sama ready themselves to leave the next morning. At the gates, Kaluluwa explains Tadhana about the Astral Portals that only the Wanderers are capable of creating to help them travel to different worlds. To help them traverse between the bridges, Kaluluwa demonstrates the summoning of his Astral Armor, which bonds the physical form of his Keyblade with his Spirit Brooch to protect his body as they traverse through space and time. Giving Tadhana his copies of his Spirit Brooch to wear, she activates her version of the Astral Armor onto herself and for Kasama-sama. This allows the three of them to finally step into the Astral Portal that leads them to their first world together.
The Growth of a Lost Star
✧ Following the Journey of Fate
Kaluluwa instructs Tadhana that the only way they can access worlds is by following the Time Flow of Fate, for they can go forward in time in order to go back, but they cannot start back in order to go forward. As such, many of the worlds they begin to visit start off with a pre-colonial, traditional setting that is familiar to Tadhana, such as the Alyeska Peninsula, the Olympus, and Montunui. Along this, the Spirit Brooch also allows her outfit to change to be more adaptable to the world if needed be, as to not disrupt the Balance of Fate in each world. This allows Lost Stars such as Tadhana to understand the evolution of historical settings, political views, and international cultures better as they visit more worlds, therefore, they adhere to the World Order. At the beginning of her travels, Tadhana ends up being in the Symphonic State, a world that happens be a Linked World, where it is connected to another world that is actually the main world. She finds the gateway that connects to another world, the Mysterious Tower, where she encounters the powerful wizard named Yen Sid who carries knowledge of the Keyblade and the Blights. To help her memory with previous events, Yen Sid grants her a magical journal for her to keep track of everything. He also entrusts a couple of training programs for Tadhana to improve on her Focus Gauge to utilize her outfit formchanges and the Shotlock ability, where she would also train alongside King Mickey, who is Yen Sid's apprentice at this time. In between visiting more worlds, Tadhana revisits the Symphonic State and find the gateway to the Disney Kingdom to meet Queen Minnie and Duchess Daisy, who feared that she was an intruder. Upon seeing her Keyblade and realizing that she knows Master Yen Sid, they aid Tadhana and take her to the Gummi Hanger to meet Chip and Dale, the kingdom's Gummi Ship mechanics to help her find her way back to the Symphonic State before being dragged back by Kaluluwa. This opens the ability for Queen Minnie to summon Tadhana for help with side missions, such as eliminating Blights that roam the Disney Castle or to unlock more Linked Worlds via gateways called Disney Doorways by Yen Sid, as he suspects that the gateways connect another version of Disney Kingdom for Tadhana to inspect and fix the Balance of Fate in each version, including the Timeless River and the Wasteland. Tadhana also soon meets Royal Magician Donald and the Captain of the Royal Knight Goofy during these frequent summons, to which she works on her teamwork while improving on her magic and defense, respectively for each character. Tadhana also learns about the Princesses of Light from Queen Minnie and Duchess Daisy, how they are the most important figures in their respective worlds and must be protected at all cost. In Camelot, Tadhana meets Merlin, another powerful wizard who carries great knowledge of the Keyblade and the responsibility a wielder has with such a power. After restoring the Balance of Fate in Camelot, Merlin grants Tadhana the ability to use the Command Matrix for magic-infused attacks and the Synthesis Tome to unlock recipes for potions and magic-infused weaponry not obtained in other worlds. Tadhana is also able to store the Story Books in Merlin's Library to where she can visit anytime. Tadhana also meets the Fairy Godmother in Château de Rêves, where not only does she restore the Balance of Fate of that world but also protects Cinderella, one of the Princesses of Light. Thankful of her generosity and knowing of the Keyblade, the Fairy Godmother gives Tadhana the Summon Medal Bag that allows her to magically store every Summon Medal she obtains, including the Fairy Godmother's Summon Medal. She also grants her the ability of Dimension Links, as Tadhana is able to borrow the powers of those who are unable to physically join her on her journey, such as Cinderella. Realizing that she is has crossed paths with the Mystic Trinity, Yen Sid has granted Tadhana access to his tower, along with the connections to the Disney Doorways that he keeps guarded by other fairies in his aid, the Three Good Fairies -- Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather. They grant her access to the specific Disney Doorways they are assigned to guard if Tadhana ever wishes to revisit again after completing her main tasks of those worlds. During her training, they help with her Attack, Health, and Magic, respectively. With their bonds growing, Tadhana continues her journey on balancing the Path of Fate to the worlds with her Disney companions. Believing that her ability to connect with so many people is due to her being a Quasar, Kaluluwa is approving of her aptitude to restore the Light and extinguish the Darkness, allowing her to proceed into her journey.
✧ Traversing the Gates of Fate
As she continues her journeys to other worlds and improving on her abilities, Tadhana realizes that all the worlds have their Balances of Fate restored only in the Disney Galaxy. Kaluluwa then explains that they are free to travel to any world of the galaxy now that they have opened every Time Gateway that links each world in that galaxy via Tadhana's Heart unlocking the Keyholes. They are granted access to other galaxies called Pixar and Ghibli, to which they continue to restore the Balances of Fates in those celestial regions respectively. In the Pixar Galaxy, Tadhana also searches the rest of the Princesses of Light and makes sure that they are protected from the Darkness. Most of the worlds in this galaxy prevents Tadhana to have her original form, so she learns to adapt to attack and defend in another form. More Summon Medals, Dimension Links, and Synthesis Materials are more prominent in these worlds, and Tadhana becomes more dependent on these abilities. Whereas in the Ghibli Galaxy, Tadhana learns to adapt and evolve without using her Keyblade in some worlds. Her main focus is to develop her raw abilities as a human and absorb the worlds as they are with the natural beauty and flaws that are not Darkness and Light. Some of the earlier worlds, Tadhana is still able to use her Keyblade, but as she travels further into the Ghibli Galaxy and unlocks more Time Gateways, it appears to be less relevant for her to use her Keyblade and magic. Unlike the Disney Galaxy, neither of the galaxies of Pixar or Ghibli have a center of Light that protects them from Darkness. After hearing the news, King Mickey extends the barrier of Light from the Cornerstone of Light within the center of Disney Castle to protect those worlds of both galaxies after Kaluluwa and Tadhana restored their Balances of Fate. In doing so, this connects all of the Gates of Fate to the Light. This unlocks a path to a couple of new galaxies for Tadhana and Kaluluwa to travel to, with one being the Reverie Galaxy. Here, Tadhana and Kaluluwa run into the Warriors of Light -- Setro the Warrior, Fritz the Monk, Zauver the Thief, Flora the White Mage, Teol the Black Mage, and Puffy the Red Mage -- with the journey is to restore the Light to the Four Crystals whose power sustain their world, Priscs. Along with Priscs, the Warriors of Light restore the light of other worlds in the Reverie Galaxy, making Tadhana and Kaluluwa curious how similar their objectives align with their own as they join them on their journey. Accepting their help, they give Tadhana and Kaluluwa the titles of Blue Mage and Sage, respectively.
✧ Meeting the Rebels of Fate
Tadhana soon learns that the Warriors of Light are individuals that she has been encountering since the start of her journey who pose false identities to keep out of suspicion from the Wanderers and the World Order. They reveal more of their true identities and their agenda the moment Tadhana realizes what they are doing is disrupting the Balance of Fate in the Reverie Galaxy and the previous galaxies she has traveled through so far. In order, the Warriors of Light are revealed to be Damon, Ønske, Pageral, Laima, Jerrol, and Malaya, with each of them trying to get Tadhana to remember more about her past and who she really is. Upon finally encountering them himself, Kaluluwa reports to Kararua, who then explains that the group of Lost Stars are the Rebels of Fate who wish to collapse the Balance of other worlds to halt the Time Flow of Fate. Tadhana listens when Kaluluwa instructs her stick with the original plan of keeping the World Order and fixing the Balance and the Time Flow as they progress within the Reverie Galaxy. However, Tadhana grows curious and conflicted as she interacts more with the Rebels, who soon reveal to her as the Novas, a small group of previous Lost Stars who wish to restore the Balance of Fate to its original form before the interactions of the Wanderers and their agenda of abducting children to use their Light and weaponizing them to take control of all galaxies. Believing that success can only be gained and viewed through many others who have to suffer for their freedom, the Novas continue to cause natural Darkness of the worlds to make it impossible for Lost Stars like Tadhana to interact due to the World Order stating that the actions themselves are not unnatural occurrences for Lost Stars to act upon. After doing what she can to fix the Balance of Fate in the worlds available to her in the Reverie Galaxy, Tadhana is abducted by the Novas after overusing her powers in the Stellar Shift. In turn, Kaluluwa shuts down into a puppet-like state as Tadhana's heart lingers in a void as she stays asleep in a coma. This causes Kararua to summon the Wanderers and their Lost Stars to hunt down the Novas and retrieve Tadhana to continue the restoration cycle before the year ends. Within her Dive to the Heart, Tadhana reconnects with the Novas in her "dreams" as she interacts with each one and recalling a Memory Fragment that links to her past and her true self. Diving deeper to her memories through various Heart Stations, Tadhana recalls who she really is and where she originated from. All the meanwhile, Kaluluwa also goes into his Dive to the Heart, but he is lingering in space and cannot touch the surface as he is not unconscious, therefore, he can not access to his fully. As he dives further to get closer to his Heart Station, he reaches for more Memory Fragments that reveal more of his past and his identity until he halts at his Heart Station and has him immediately forget everything he has learned about himself and Tadhana as he feels himself pulled away from his Heart Station. When he awakens, Kaluluwa is told by Kararua that Tadhana must be obtained if he has gained control of his form. Wanting the complete the Time Flow, Kararua sends Kaluluwa out to rejoin with Tadhana, to which he urgently rushes out through an Astral Portal upon sensing the Bonded Chain faintly reacting in his heart. In turn, Kararua disappears as to rendezvous with the rest of the Wanderers.

Links in Time
Links in Time is the second title of the Kingdom Hearts: Tadhana's Journey trilogy. It is properly stylized as KINGDOM HEARTS: Tadhana's Journey - Volume 2: Links in Time, following the abbreviation of KH:LiT on social media. This also includes some world visitations and character appearances from a variety of Square Enix's Final Fantasy series, including from titles that Nomura previously worked on, including another Square Enix video game title, The World Ends With You. Specifically in Volume 2: Links in Time of the Tadhana's Journey trilogy, the main character, Tadhana, will be traveling to worlds and interacting with the main casts of the majority of Disney and some Final Fantasy titles, precisely IX, XI-XIV, and XVI. It also includes with the game The World Ends With You, the first title. The second book will mainly focus on the specific Disney films, along with the original worldscape created in aspiration to the Kingdom Hearts universe, especially mainly within the world of Daybreak Town during the story plot events of Kingdom Hearts χ(chi)/Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ/Kingdom Hearts Union χ(Cross) (usually shortened to KHUχ). Volume 2 will also feature worlds and story plot events from Kingdom Hearts Union χ Dark Road/Kingdom Hearts Dark Road (KHDR), Kingdom Hearts: Missing-Link (KHML). Considering that Volume 2: Links in Time mainly contains Kingdom Hearts-related games and their stories, as well as some of the most notable Final Fantasy titles, with the inclusion of The World Ends With You, Book 2 will be an in-depth anthology rendition with a total of nine video game story plots condensed into a digitalized novel of one hundred chapters with Tadhana's perspective alongside the main casts of the games. This will be the first book of the trilogy where it focuses more towards the stories in video games, but it is also the first book to be more Kingdom Hearts story-based within Tadhana's Journey. However, it is noted by the author that even though that this fanfiction anthology is heavily inspired by the universe and the concept of Kingdom Hearts, the main character and the main story does not completely overlay with the original characters and timeline of the series. Nonetheless, the main synopses of the notable video game titles mentioned for Book 2 will be viewed and highlighted through Tadhana's perspective throughout her journey. The online anthology fanfiction is currently posted on Booksie, but it is currently in development of being shared on various online reading/writing digital platforms such as Archive of Our Own, Wattpad, and Fanfiction. The chapters are planned to be uploaded on a set weekly schedule after its debut of the first three chapters for the public to read.

Overview
Like the Kingdom Hearts series, Links in Time features a mixture of familiar Square Enix characters, notably from video game series such as Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, and The World Ends With You. Some new locations and characters mentioned throughout the first volume will be created and written by Issie. Though the trilogy features locations unique to their respective films, the worlds are heavily explored and are seen through Tadhana's experiences as she visits these worlds and interact with the main cast to protect them from enemies. Tadhana will be a reoccuring main protagonist of the second book of the trilogy Tadhana's Journey. Often, Tadhana's actions in these worlds follow closely to the storylines, especially to those primarily featured in the respective video games being listed in this volume. It is mentioned by Master Kaluluwa, Tadhana's master and guardian, that her main duty as a Lost Star is to "restore the World Order", as the enemies known as the Heartless are seen as "servants of Chaos" whose only goal is "to disrupt the flow of Fate." As such, it is noted that Tadhana and Kaluluwa often have her forms changed to conform easily in each new world they travel to. Creatures such as Moogles and Chocobos that are common in the Final Fantasy universe are seen to be familiar in Links in Time.
When KHUχ released, Tadhana's physical appearance when through the most changes. In 2016 following the release of the mobile game title Kingdom Hearts: Unchained X, Tadhana was originally under the name Kaluluwa, bearing a completely different appearance compared to her default one. As previously mentioned, Volume 2: Links in Time revolves mainly through the story events of the mobile games of the Kingdom Hearts series, KHUχ, KHDR, and KHML. The second book first started off with following the Player's actions of the first mentioned mobile game, Kingdom Hearts χ, however, after the completion of the finalized renditions of the game and the announcements of the other Kingdom Hearts mobile games, Issie decided to include them to keep the continuity of her segment of her journey with the events in the mobile games. Issie immediately came to the decision to include The World Ends With You into the Tadhana's Journey trilogy, taking up the second half of the second book. Upon the inclusion of the other Kingdom Hearts mobile games and some titles of the Final Fantasy series, she decided to push the universe of TWEWY towards the final third of the volume to keep the consistency of her story. She then decided to use the story plots of each Kingdom Hearts mobile game to reflect as Tadhana's version of the following: Kingdom Hearts Uχ as Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories/Re:chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts Dark Road as Kingdom Hearts: Coded/Kingdom Hearts: Re:coded, and Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link and The World Ends With You as Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. As a certain set of Disney worlds will be revisited within each mobile game, Issie did not want to overuse the idea of repetition like it is expressed in each game and implement more symbolism and lore concepts within the worlds and plots of the games. Her inclusions of the Final Fantasy titles, specifically VII through XI, are to expand more of Tadhana's side quests to recover her memories and understand more about her dreams of previous events as to continue avoiding the repetition of revisiting the same worlds she has already visited in Book 2. Issie believed that including the iconic titles of the series help fill the missing pieces towards Tadhana's recovery of notable characters who go through similar struggles as she does. It will be mentioned how players could play other characters beside Tadhana to unlock multiple perspectives and cutscenes, however, for the sake of the trilogy, Issie would only focus on the perspective of Tadhana and her Path of Fate. This volume in particular will contain the most Original Characters (OCs) that she will write about in one book, with a handful of them not originally belonging to her. The second book is mainly a tribute to her circle of friends that she has played the mobile games with and have interacted on social media to show her gratitude for the unwaverign support and kindness they have shown Issie during the production of this project.
✧ Aspired Gameplay Mechanics
As the majority of the games are either mobile or Nintendo DS, the ideal mechanics for gameplay would follow a similar route. Issie is inspired by the diversity of gameplay mechanics within the Kingdom Hearts series and wishes to follow a similar yet a more consistent and elevated route for Tadhana's Journey. Also, by following the similar mechanics of the respective games, Tadhana would still be following the World Order of the worlds she is visiting. Starting off with Kingdom Hearts Union χ, attacks are made primarily through Medals, which fuse their powers into the Keyblades so players can attack and defend against the Heartless. Tadhana would learn how to use Medals during her training in Daybreak Town, allowing the powers to strengthen the Keyblade and her as she gains access to powerful special attacks for her to use in battles. Battles in KHUχ are a hybrid of the quick-paced, action-based combat where tapping and swiping directly upon the enemies results to deal with either basic damage or quick combos, with the player normally attacking first, depending on the enemies they approached. In Tadhana's case, gameplay will be similar to the real-time third-person role-playing that the majority of the Kingdom Hearts titles portray, where she can maneuver around the worldscape she ventures into. However, all physical attacks, magic, items, and summons are activated by Medals, similar to the combat executed in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. When Tadhana installs certain Medals that can be paired together, they trigger a Medal Stratagem that activates a chain of special attacks and consumes the Medals' magic that is displayed in the Stratagem Gauge next to her Health bar, similar to how the Special Gauge is in Kingdom Hearts Union χ. Each individual Medal Tadhana earns can be leveled up and upgraded through the Moogle Shop usually seen within the Fountain Square in Daybreak Town, owned by the Moogle seen in the original Kingdom Hearts Union χ game. By granting new skills, traits, and status boosts, Tadhana levels up and automatically upgrades her Supernova ability, which acts like the Drive Forms for Sora in Kingdom Hearts II. In KHUχ, players tap the Nova icon on the right side of the screen during battle to unleash their Nova ability on all enemies. Tadhana would only need to fill up her Nova Gauge to unleash her Supernova abilities, a supernatural skillset that she is granted when connecting a chain of special Medals with magic linked to Tadhana's Heart that actually triggers her to go into her Stellar Shift. Just like in KHUχ, the Supernova abilities do not consume magic from either the Stratagem or Nova Gauges, but it can only be used once per quest, which in the case of Tadhana, only in major quests that continue the main storyline. The addition of Dream Eater Pets in KHUχ allow players to customize the Pet's appearance, name, and Medals equipped to level them up; the highers the Medal's individual rank, the more points the Pet gains. With each level, they gain useful Tricks they can bring into battle and open an additional sixth Medal slot for the player to use, but the damage multiplier offered by the sixth slot depends on the Pet's level. Tadhana and her party members receive these Pets under the name Soul Companions, and they are only customizable by name and Medal equipment. Their appearances are fixed to their proper animalistic limb porportions, but their colors can still be changed, if one wishes. When players gain access to the Olympus Coliseum in KHUχ, there are two categories of training: Players versus Enemies - PVE and Players versus Players - PVP. As the name suggests, in PVE mode, players battle against waves of enemies in a series of increasingly gauntlets, and in PVP mode, players face off against holographic data copies of other players, controlled by the in-game AI. In Tadhana's Journey, Tadhana and her party would practice either against the actual physical beings of each other or the holographic data copies of Heartless that are exclusive of other worlds beyond certain Raid Battles. Specific requirements may need to be met if Tadhana and her party choose to participate in either PVE or PVP mode, such as only using a certain Keyblade or equipping a designated type of Medals set, and the challenges increase in difficulty from a preset customized setup until the final level of experience, which differs the weekly requirements in the mobile game. In KHUχ, players can undertake online cooperative real-time quests done in a MMORPG style to earn Cross Coins, either with their party or random members, which can be used on the Cross Boards to collect prizes. In Tadhana's Journey, Tadhana can only do this with members of her own party, and the Cross Boards are used in the Moogle Shop to synthesize new Medals with materials they find in other worlds and with Cross Coins earned from winning from the PVE and PVP modes at the Olympus Coliseum. In this way, Tadhana is able to obtain Medals of characters and their powers from worlds that are not originally visited or mentioned in Book 2, and this helps her remember and borrow the powers of previous companions from her travels in Book 1.
With the portion of Book 2 going into the events of KHDR, the concept of Cards correlates very well with the comparison of Cards used in KH:CoM, and the following idea meshes both mechanics from both games. There are a variety of Cards, which in Tadhana's Journey, they are known as Crown Cards, and they are stored within the Card System, sorting the Cards by their types, colors, values, abilities, and power. Using multiple cards result to a Card Flush, the ability to stack either two or three Crown Cards to unleash an improved version of a Card's powers, and they can only be paired with compatible Card types. The main Crown Card types are: • Attack Cards - Cards with red borders and the classic Keyblade insignia that help Tadhana's offense, possessing illustrations and the powers of Keyblades of the worlds she has visited. She can mix-and-match a variety of these Cards, and it will show Tadhana wielding the Keyblades in the illustration.
• Magic Cards - Cards with blue borders and the Mickey Mouse insignia that unleash elemental magic spells Tadhana learns along the way, such as Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, and Aero. She can also alternate between spells and reuse them after resummoning the Cards.
• Item Cards - Card with green borders and the Kingdom Hearts insignia that are used to restore Attack or Magic cards with Potions or Ethers, respectively. They are usually only be used once per battle, but Tadhana can reuse these Cards if she reloads the gauge of her Card Deck.
• Friend Cards - Cards with orange borders and the Wayfinder insignia that appear in the battlefield at certain times for pickup and can summon an ally to help fight alongside Tadhana. They are usually of characters from the various Disney worlds she visits and will actually stay by her side until the end of the battle. She can only have a max of three Friend Cards to use per battle.
• Enemy Cards - Cards with yellow borders and the Heartless insignia whose powers are based off on key enemies or bosses that are temporarily given to Tadhana to offer better offensive or defensive capabilities. The background of the cards are black, which means that they cannot be used in a Card Flush.
• Trick Cards - Cards with purple borders that only appear during certain boss battles, carrying unique attributes with a Card Value of 0, containing the Fate insignia that looks similar to the Spirit Brooch Tadhana possesses. When used, the enemy is either stunned or Tadhana is granted a special Nova ability that triggers a certain Stellar Shift power for her to gain the upper hand in battle. Then, there are the Special Cards that Tadhana can be given: • World Cards - Cards with black and white borders that summon the Portals of other worlds that Tadhana needs to visit that reflect the memories she has locked away in her Heart. Once she finds the world's Keyhole, she is given the next World Card that helps connect her to the next world.
• Nova Cards - Cards with white borders that bear the Foreteller insignia that project the members from Tadhana's party who guide Tadhana to the right Path of Fate, giving her hints in her dreams.
• Pulsar Cards - Cards with silver borders that bear the Wanderers insignia and possess the powers of the twelve other Lost Stars who briefly appear and lend Tadhana aid with their special abilities. They appear in certain worlds and battles that are necessary for them to participate in. They are mainly Cards to help with Tadhana's memory.
• Quasar Cards - Cards with holographic backgrounds bearing the Quasar insignia and the powers of previous Quasars that Tadhana can borrow temporarily during certain boss battles. These only appear during certain battles, and only Tadhana can use them. The total number of cards a deck can contain is determined by a player's Card Points (CP), to which determines the Card Value that either matches/is lower compared to the player's value or is within the maximum of 99 cards. For example, when Tadhana reaches Level 30, she can only carry up to 30 Cards that are Level 30 or under. The Card Values (CV) of the Card System are as follows: • 0 or Nulla
• 1 or Unus/I
• 2 or Duo/II
• 3 or Tres/III
• 4 or Quattuor/IV
• 5 or Quinctus/V
• 6 or Senio/VI
• 7 or Septem/VII
• 8 or Octo/VIII
• 9 or Novem/IX Crown Cards with the Card Values between I-Unus through IX-Novem increase in strength as the number increases, with CV 1 generally being the weakest and CV 9 being the strongest. CV 0/Nulla has the ability to nullify an opponent's Card of any Value, but it can also be overthrown by a Card of any Value by the opponent, treating as a double-edged sword. By being able to overthrow an opponent's Card due to possessing a higher CV results in a Card Break, and Tadhana is able to gain the upper hand and proceed on attacking. The Card Values are multiplied by whatever value Tadhana is in, so for example, when Tadhana is on Level 30, a Card she has that is also Level 30 with a Card Value of 7, its total Card Effect (CE) is 210 (30 x 7 = 210). This will make it easier for Tadhana to win through various Card Breaks, but it will take longer for her to recover the Cards she has equipped in her Card Deck, the higher the Card Value amount is used in a Card Flush. For example, if Tadhana had used three cards with the Card Value of 7, the total CV is 21, and if she is on level 30, the new CE will be 630, but now those three cards with the CV of 7 will not reappear by the next three recharges of the battle. If the cards Tadhana use in a Card Flush are the Special Cards, they cannot be recharge once they are used. They can be restocked into her Card Deck if she used them individually, however, they take longer than the basic Cards when they are used individually.
By the time Tadhana arrives in Scala ad Caelum for the events of KHML, Tadhana would now somewhat follow the gameplay mechanics that is illustrated in the mobile game. As it appears to borrow the powers of the Statues of iconic Disney/Pixar, Final Fantasy, and Kingdom Hearts characters, the game suggests to something similar to a gacha mechanic where players can earn these Statues and equip them to unlock various offense, defense, magic, and summoning abilities, just like the previous Kingdom Hearts mobile titles did with the Medals and Cards. Tadhana would reach the final stage of her recovering her memories and abilities, so she would illustrate more towards the mechanics of KH:3D whilst combining the elements explained from Tadhana's time during the events of KHUχ and KHDR. The gameplay would transition back fully to the real-time third-person role-playing perspective, featuring both old and new means to act within the game. This portion of the game would be split into two scenarios that are played concurrently in a linear fashion which will be fulfilled by two protagonists: Tadhana and Malaya. Similar to the Drop System in KH:3D for Sora and Riku, Tadhana and Malaya will switch throughout the game and progress the story from their perspectives through the Link System. Whenever a character is taking place, the Drop Gauge counts down towards the Drop Time for either Sora or Riku to switch with the either. This can be avoided temporarily with the use of items such as the Drop-Me-Not and the Drop-Me-Never potions that restore 50% and 100% of the Drop Gauge, respectively. In the case with Tadhana and Malaya, the Link System has the Link Gauge that functions in a similar manner, with the timer becoming more visible as time approaches to zero, alerting the player of the impending Soul Switch, which can be temporarily halted by triggering the Shatter Spirit Shard command that can only be activated after a certain amount of Spirit Shards used to refill its internal gauge. With the Link System introduced, Tadhana's and Malaya's abilities, magic, summons, and items will be converted from Medals and Cards into Spirit Shards that acts like the Command Deck from Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (KH:BBS) and KH:3D. Spirit Shards would be sythesized and placed in Shard Slots to be activated from the Spirit Deck, which acts as the menu that collects the abilities for Tadhana and Malaya to access from as they engage in battles or interactive situations. Once installed and used, a cool-down timer is triggered and must be refilled until be activated again. Accessing a Save Point will reset the timer for every Shard Slot equipped in the Spirit Deck. Another concept introduced in KH:3D are the Spirit Ability Links that Sora and Riku can obtain via a game board to unlock Deck Commands and Dream Drop Distance abilities for use within the game. Such a thing is accessible to the player by acquiring the Link Points acting as currency to unlock abilities and commands on the Ability Link board, which are earned by Sora and Riku interacting with their Dream Eaters, colorful animalistic creatures whose powers and abilities are available in the sense of one's spirit. Dream Eaters are split into two categories, called Spirits and Nightmares. Customization to the Spirits would still available to the players, with them following the variety of a lighter color scheme with mostly yellow and blue as the main colors, compared to the Nightmares having the darker color scheme with mostly purple and red as the main colors. A player is able to change the colors of their Spirits once obtained into the party, whilst the Nightmares remain in their color scheme. Spirits are generally friendlier and usually have black-and-yellow eyes with a variety of pupil shapes, and Nightmares have black-and-red eyes and bearing a darker mark of the Spirit Emblem. In the book, the Spirits and Nightmares that Tadhana and Malaya encounter are stuck with the Spirits' default colors and species names. With Tadhana and Malaya, this function is shortened as Spirit Links where Spirit Shards and Shard Slots are still unlocked via Link Points. Tadhana and Malaya would also have Spirits in their party, and they can either earn Link Points from the Spirit Link Room to train with their Spirits or out in battle as Spirit Commands when activated correctly through timed-based actions, similar to the Reaction Commands in Kingdom Hearts II (KHII) and KH:BBS. Through Spirit Links and Spirit Commands, Tadhana and Malaya have their Souls connected to their Spirits to combat enemies. Despite the usage of Spirits, Tadhana and Malaya only encounter Nightmares when they go into their dreams, visiting worlds and people from the Dreamscape. Several new abilities are introduced in KH:3D, such as Flowmotion and Reality Shift, providing more fluidity of movement and usage against enemies, whether in offense or defense. Tadhana and Malaya are granted these abilities, along with Dream Dive that allow Tadhana and Malaya to transfer into their dreams through free-fall to take control of their dreams and reconnect their memories with the help from Spirits, similar to the Dive Mode that Sora and Riku engage in. Just like Sora and Riku, Tadhana and Malaya cannot go to the other worlds via the Dreamscape if they do not use the power of the Dream Eaters and the Spirit Links. Tadhana and Malaya are only able to equip two Spirits at a time to be available within a world or in battle alongside them. Just like in KH:3D, the girls are able to use their respective Dream Eaters separately, or together to provide them with unique abilities, giving them increased attack damage and often speed as well. Each Spirit allows a different power-up within a time limit, and using two Spirits collaboratively will give a combined result, often more powerful than using either Spirit's abilities separately. These power-ups are called Spirit Perks, and they are available to Tadhana and Malaya when the Spirit Bond between them and their Spirits grow and level up. Once the Spirit Bond refills, Tadhana and Malaya are able to utilize the improved abilities of the Spirit Perks once again.
Progression within the Dreamscape allow Tadhana and Malaya to physically venture to new areas via the Astral Plane, a world connecting existence and non-existence in the terms to the Founders and the other residents of Scala ad Caelum explain. Various Keylinks act as guidance system for Tadhana and Malaya to traverse in to lead them to the Distortions that the smaller members, such as Tadhana and Malaya, in the Societies in Scala ad Caelum are ordered to fix. The Distortions are typically caused by the Heartless, which Tadhana and Malaya fight against ones similar to the Nightmares they encounter in the Dreamscape. Along the way, they obtain Fragments, miniature statue pieces of characters upon stained glass stands that lend a portion of their powers briefly to the player and help them unlock new abilities. Fragments can be divided into three main categories: • Summon Fragments - Typically of Disney/Pixar characters who lend their special abilities temporarily to aid in a battle. In Tadhana's case, they are the same Summons from Book 1 and are used as Friend Cards during her time of the events of KHDR. Their stained glass stands are mostly orange with some red and yellow.
• Spirit Fragments - Those of the Dream Eater Spirits that Tadhana and Malaya gather during their journeys through the Dreamscape. Their stained glass stands are mostly pink with some white and black.
• Star Fragments - They illustrate the members of the Nova party that Tadhana and Malaya were a part of back in Daybreak Town and those in the Baroque Society in Scala ad Caelum. Their stained glass stands are purple with some blue and green. There are also Soul Fragments that is only specific towards Tadhana to use that help her reconnect to her full potential of unlocking the Stellar Shift through her connection with the previous Quasars. The stained glass stands for these fragments are multicolored. A Fragment Chain can be linked up to six Fragments for a player, and switching out Fragments unlock a variety of advance and improved compatible abilities for Tadhana and Malaya to use throughout their tasks. Fragments and friends from other Societies replace Spirits in Tadhana's and Malaya's parties. In unison, both Tadhana and Malaya would possess twelve Fragments that make up the Star Halo, a circle of Fragments that are linked together to symbolize the unity, solidarity, and and harmony between their Hearts. Their combined powers create the Crown of Immortality, a type of Combined Keyblade between the halves of Tadhana's and Malaya's main starting Keyblades -- Stargazer and Starfallen -- respectively. When merged, the tips overlap and flare out to shape a blazing light blue star that radiates a wheel of twelve small stars at the tip to continuously rotate with each swing, cutting and burning enemies upon contact. The Keychain illustrates the combined halves of the Cross medallions of their necklaces, creating an eight-pointed star charm. Each of their halves correspond to the colors of the girls' gemstones, with Tadhana mostly white and light blue-green and Malaya mostly black and purple-pink. The Crown of Immortality is first summoned when Malaya obtains the main six Star Fragments and Tadhana obtains the six Soul Fragments, and they are able to summon it afterwards further into their journey to go up against stronger Heartless. They both unleash a variety of slashes called Cosmic Apocalypse, first separately dashing through a trail of stardust and connecting both halves of their Keyblades together to deliver the final slash upon their enemies.
Story
χ(Chi) - The Key of Destiny
✧ The Star Wanderer
A shooting star is reported to be seen in broad daylight at the center of Daybreak Town, a world where many of its residents know how to wield and train with the Keyblade. At the Fountain Square, a young child is found unconscious by passerbys and a cloaked individual who they called Master Luxu. They prepare to take the unconscious child to the Clock Tower when a Darkside appears and starts attacking. Trying to fend off the giant Heartless while protecting the younger Keyblade wielders who failed to stand their ground against it, Master Luxu struggles to fight while protecting multiple people as more Shadows are summoned. The unconscious child wakes up and summons a unique Keyblade and a powerful Water spell that swiftly eliminates the Darkside and the smaller Heartless. Once the threat had disappeared, the child falls unconscious again, leaving the other children and Master Luxu in great awe and curiosity. At the Clock Tower, another cloaked individual watches the event from afar, awaiting for the presence of the unconscious child. As the child has successfully arrived by Master Luxu, the older one in the black coat instructs his apprentice to summon the others before the day ends.
✧ The Seven Prophets
Following his orders without question, the Master Luxu summons his fellow companions to the Clock Tower and attend a group meeting with the Master of Masters, a wise and powerful Keyblade wielder well-known in Daybreak Town who sought to spread the teachings of Light. He awaits with the Master as Portals materialize and five other individuals who are also in colorful robes and animal masks emerge into the room. Master Luxu greets each of his companions. There is Master Ira of Unicornis, Master Aced of Ursus, Master Invi of Anguis, Master Gula of Leopardus, and Master Ava of Vulpes. As more Keyblade wielders harbor into Daybreak Town, the Master of Masters trained his apprentices to become Foretellers to take in the younger generation of Keyblade wielders that best fit their abilities and values, categorizing them into different Unions that each of the Foretellers created and fulfilling one of the last main requests from the Master of Masters to maintain balance between power and light. However, only Master Luxu remains to not be granted the permission to create his own Union and become a Foreteller, knowing that the Master of Masters has a separate task for him after assigning tasks for each of his companions. He is just as appalled as the other Foretellers when the Master of Masters assigns the Star Child to him to train and guide. Before he could question why, Master Luxu listens to the Master of Masters instructing the other Foretellers to never intervene with the Star Child and for that to be Master Luxu's responsibility alone, as they are originally instructed with the children in their own Unions. Believing that Master Luxu is undergoing his training to finally develop his own Union, the other five Foretellers obey and are dismissed, with Master Luxu left alone with the Master of Masters in his office.
✧ The Book of Prophecies
Upon questioning the Master of Masters, Master Luxu asks if he knew about the Star Child's arrival, despite the event not recorded in the Book of Prophecies, the important tome of future events that the Master of Masters himself authored. He is consistently gazing into the future and witnessing events even though he is not physically present in those future events due to the incredible foresight ability he possesses thanks to the power of his all-seeing eye, the Gazing Eye. However, he is shocked to hear that the Master of Masters did not know of the event, which makes him wonder if anything has changed within the timeline. He mentions briefly about the devastating war in which Keyblade wielders from all corners of the world would gather to battle for the light within Kingdom Hearts, an unknown place of legend that even Master Luxu does not know. As he listens how this fated clash would bring about the end of the world, with Darkness prevailing and Light expiring, Master Luxu questions why he out of his other companions mst watch over the Star Child. The Master of Masters bestowed the Star Child to Master Luxu to buy him time to gaze into the future once more to see if anything has changed and if the Book of Prophecies needs to be updated before creating copies for the Foretellers. Nonetheless, the Master of Masters reassures Master Luxu that his main task he was instructed for will still start on the original date and time he was supposed to -- seven days from today. The Master of Master then disappears into a Portal, with no other instructions or rambles for Master Luxu to listen to. As such, Master Luxu walks out from the Meeting Room to the spare room where the Star Child is kept, wondering how to begin.
✧ The Flower of Destiny
Upon the Star Child awakening, Master Luxu greets himself and gives a brief rundown and what is expected as a Keyblade wielder in Daybreak Town. Realizing how confused the Star Child appears, Master Luxu redirects himself to focus on asking the child questions of her origins. Not recalling her name, homeland, or reasons of acquiring her unique Keyblade, Master Luxu decides to go along the name Star Child, as that is how the Master of Masters refer to her as. Granting her new clothes and a room within his home, Master Luxu allows her to rest more for the evening. Upon preparing tasks for her, the Star Child surprises Master Luxu of informing him that she recalls a bit of her past through her dreams. She dreamt of being on an island with beautiful white flowers and only remembers a little bit of dialogue exchanged between her and someone else -- a tall stranger in a mask. She only heard one word clearly from what the stranger said to her: Kaluluwa. Wanting to go by the name, Master Luxu refers to the Star Child as Kaluluwa, telling her that she needs to know the basics, which is knowing how to summon the Keyblade and what she must do with such powers since she is granted to wield one. As he goes through the training, Master Luxu improves more of the difficulty. He is impressed to see Kaluluwa's quick progression to the training and listens to every detail she recalls from his instructions and from her dreams when she supposedly trained with the tall masked stranger. He gives her a journal for her to keep track of her dreams and to remember them better. There are times where she leaves her journal out in the open for Master Luxu to glance upon, reading a page and seeing some sketches that she describes of her dreams, mostly about the star-shaped flower from a distant island. He decides to look into more information in the Control Room about the flowers, hoping that more of Kaluluwa's past could be revealed and how he could help her restrain the mystical power that she will sometimes release during intense encounters with stronger Heartless. However, before he could delve into more research, Master Luxu is reunited with the Master of Masters, as their time to act draws near. Reminding him of their original tasks to not interrupt the passage of events already written in the Book of Prophecies, the Master of Masters distracts Master Luxu from doing more research with his erractic rambles. Worried about Kaluluwa, Master Luxu asks of her placement if he were meant to disappear. The Master of Masters reassures him that he had already a plan for the Star Child, ushering him to take his Keyblade, No Name, and the Black Box, reminding him to never lose sight of the Keyblade bearing the Gazing Eye and to never open the Black Box during his travels. This draws more curiosity for Master Luxu, to which the Master of Masters gives in and whispers something into his ears that now, only the two of them know. Visiting Kaluluwa in her sleep, the Master of Masters wonders aloud of her origins and why she has appeared at the moment that she did. Shrugging the curiosity away, he mentions that all of the necessary pieces will fall into place eventually before disappearing into the shadows. He leaves a folded piece of paper in her journal that is left on her desk, within the pages that mention how the strange beings in different animal masks chose her to leave her island with an unknown type of Keyblade.
✧ The Quests for Lux
The disappearances of Master Luxu and the Master of Masters have spread, and the Foretellers reassures each of their Unions to continue their normal quests whilst they begin investigations of their whereabouts. Master Ira summons all of the other Foretellers into the Room of the Foretellers to discuss of what the Master of Masters have instructed him and with his copy of the Book of Prophecies. He has also explains how Kaluluwa has now been reassigned to the Unicornis Union under his care, now that Master Luxu is also absent. Just as confused and suspectible as his companions, Master Ira summons in Kaluluwa to question her and search for any clues relating to their disappearances. However, upon asking of Master Luxu's presence by her and presenting the journal Master Luxu gifted her, the Foretellers learn that Kaluluwa has no knowledge of either Master Luxu's or the Master of Masters whereabouts. Once told, Kaluluwa wonders if she did something wrong as to why Master Luxu has disappeared. Wanting to keep a close eye on her and reassuring her, Master Ira fulfills his duty of taking Kaluluwa under his wing and presents her own Chirithy, a type of Dream Eater concocted by the Master of Masters, to guide her on her Lux tasks. He also creates her Daybreak ID card and sets up a Daybreak Tablet with the proper apps to guide her on where she receives the missions from his Union via the Mission Board and to communicate with other Unicornis members via the Chat Log. As Kaluluwa grows to develop a bond with her Chirithy, she gives the name Una, now calling her Chirithy as that name. The day before her first trip, Una explains to Kaluluwa of the different worlds that Daybreak Town and its heart is connected to for them to travel to defeat the Heartless that rampage in those worlds and their hearts. When they travel to different worlds, Una instructs Kaluluwa that they must collect Lux, the particles of Light left behind by the Heartless, to help the other Unions for their assigned Foretellers to keep the Balance of Light and Darkness. Una also guides Kaluluwa to the various shops in Daybreak Town to prepare herself for her journey to other worlds, using the allowance Master Luxu left behind for her to purchase items such as a travel Moogle lunch box set with a matching collapsable silicone Moogle water bottle, some travel snacks, a Moogle first aid travel kit, and a Sunset Tears Yellow wallet with a matching Sunset Tears Yellow Lux handkerchief. Una also encourages Kaluluwa to buy a new outfit for herself, to which she resorts to the Novice Explorer set with a Sea-Side Straw Hat and a White Fairy Flowers Hairclips set. She keeps her blue and yellow bracelets and her mystical necklace, sensing some type of importance to the jewelry.

Twists by Fate is the third title of the Kingdom Hearts: Tadhana's Journey trilogy. It is properly stylized as KINGDOM HEARTS: Tadhana's Journey - Volume 3: Twists by Fate, following the abbreviation of KH:TbF on social media. The trilogy is created by Issie M. Hansen, listed under the username aliases Cecilisabeth16 on Booksie and GuardianTadhana on her socials. It is a fanfiction anthology series based on the role-playing video game series Kingdom Hearts, with the title developed by Square Enix, following the collaboration between Square Enix and Disney Interactive Studios under the direction of Tetsuya Nomura. Kingdom Hearts is a crossover of various Disney settings based in a universe made specifically for the series, where Disney characters from their notable films interact with the main character. There is also the inclusion of the Japanese villains academy adventure mobile game Twisted Wonderland, created by Aniplex and Walt Disney Japan, with Yana Toboso, the creator of Black Butler, in charge of the original plan, main script, and character designs inspired by Disney Villains from various Disney franchises. The main story events of Twisted Wonderland will take up the first portion of the third book, overlapping with events from other games being split during her academic years in the Twisted Wonderland universe. Heading halfway through Tadhana's Journey, the story will shift into the main events from another Square Enix video game, NEO: The World Ends With You, the sequel of the original title, The World Ends With You, portraying a 3D-animated action role-playing game co-developed by Square Enix and h.a.n.d., with Tetsuya Nomura as creative producer and character designer, Gen Kobayashi as character designer, and Hiroyuki Itou, who was game designer in the original but is now serving as director. In the third portion of Volume 3: Twists by Fate, there will also be the inclusions of the games Drakengard, NieR Replicant, and NieR:Automata. As the themes of the Drakengard/NieR series are darker and more mature compared to the other games that Tadhana has been involved with so far, she will be encountering these themes that will determine the growth of her own maturity. The inclusions of some world visitations and character appearances from a variety of Square Enix's Final Fantasy series, typically from titles that Nomura previously worked on, but Tadhana's Journey will also include the final third of Final Fantasy titles, ranging from the VII-VIII, X, XV, and Type-0, during final portion in Tadhana's journey in the third book.
The Wondrous Land of the Twisted
✧ The Student from the Stars
A peculiar creature has his eyes captivated onto a mystical glowing gem trapped in a coffin, and it reawakens the owner trapped in a floating coffin after blasting the lid off with his fire magic. Upon their meeting, the creature introduces itself as Grim, a feline-like monster who aspires to be a great mage. It tries to convince the student to give up his robes to use the clothing as its ticket to enter Night Raven College, the prestigious four-year arcane academy that teaches and houses students deemed to possess magical aptitude, but fails. However, upon sensing the magical aura from the gemstone necklace, Grim offers another type of trade, to which the human refuses. Determined to be a student, Grim releases a blue-colored fire spell at the student, causing them to dodge the attack and be distracted for Grim to steal the gemstone necklace. However, this causes the student to chase Grim, to which he runs off into the Courtyard. Believing that it outsmarted the crazy human, Grim tries to figure out how to use the gemstone and is compelled to swallow it. Before it could, Grim sees the gemstone disappear from its paws, following the trail of sparkles to see the human student before it, the necklace now transforming into a strange weapon in their hands. Grim is then being chased, struggling to avoid the terrifying aura the human now portrays and running off into the Library after dodging a magic attack from the weapon that unlocks the barrier spell. Upon hiding in the dark, Grim boasts how it will find the human and take both the necklace and their robes to finally become a student. It senses the human, and the two of them become face-to-face, with Grim preparing to launch fireball from its throat and the human pointing the strange weapon at it. They are stopped by a mysterious man who emerges from the shadows and lassos Grim with his key-shaped staff that magically transforms into a whip. The man confronts both Grim and the human student, scolding on them both for running off in the middle of the Orientation Ceremony and for trespassing into closed-off properties. He lectures to the student for not getting Grim under control when it is their familiar (to which Grim tries to deny for it belongs to no one). When questioned by the student, the man escorts them out back into the Courtyard and introduces himself to be Headmaster Dire Crowley, the headmage of Night Raven College and explains that they are in Twisted Wonderland. As he answers more of the student's questions, Crowley drifts himself lost in thought before realizing that they are late for the Orientation Ceremony, guiding them back to the Mirror Chamber. Crowley commands his staff to take the tied-up Grim back to his office as he guides the student into the Mirror Chamber where the other students in their ceremonial robes await for the last student to be appointed into a house. He leads the student to the Seven Housewardens and the Dark Mirror, explaining the student to reveal and properly introduce themselves to finally be assigned to a dorm. The student is hesitant and confronts the Dark Mirror crudely, stating moments that they have supposedly witnessed from the Dark Mirror and Queen Grimhilde, one of the Great Seven, who are powerful individuals that inspire the seven dorms that define Night Raven College. The accusatory retorts shock the students and staff, even more importantly Crowley, who finally stops the student to lecture and question their impertinence. However, the Dark Mirror intervenes and agrees to help the student with any questions they posses if they continue with the Orientation Ceremony rituals and properly introduce themselves and the magical ability they possess. With the gemstone necklace in hand, the student conjures up the energy within themselves and summons the bizzare key-shaped weapon in hand. Everyone else watches, especially Crowley, the Seven Housewardens, and the Dark Mirror, how the hood floats off, the student now revealed and properly introduced as Tadhana Abantas. Seeking deep into Tadhana's Heart, the Dark Mirror in unable to recognize anything linked to her past or her previous memories, stating that she may have known him from another world of another time. Intrigued, Crowley questions Tadhana further of her origins, but she is unable to answer as her memories are still hazy from being recently awakened. Furthermore, the Dark Mirrors states how Tadhana possesses no magical prowess, so she is unable to be assigned a dorm and cannot be a student in Night Raven College. When the confounded Crowley continues to question how the Black Carriage picked up a person with no magical capabilities, despite her appearing to show some type of magic weaponry usage, Tadhana explains to Crowley that her wielding a Keyblade does not make herself possess magical abilities, especially in the current universe and time she is in; therefore, this makes her magicless in the Twisted Wonderland universe in terms of her not bearing magic similar to the people of Twisted Wonderland. Meanwhile, Grim has been struggling and fighting against Crowley's staff, managing to escape and listening in on Tadhana's dorm sorting. Hearing how she is classified of being magicless, Grim bursts into the Mirror Chamber, declaring to take Tadhana's spot to be a student in her place. However, it is instantly taken down by Crowley and his magic key staff, which captures Tadhana's attention. Upon being ridiculed by the majority of the student body for a monster to be a Night Raven College student, Grim is eager to prove itself by showing off its fire magic, which begins to unleash chaotically throughout the room and onto nearby students. Tadhana swiftly steps in to douse the scattered fireballs with Hydro and Aero magic, which confuses Grim. After saving the inflicted students and protecting the Seven Housewardens, Crowley, and the Dark Mirror, Tadhana casts a Barrier within the Dark Chamber, blocking off the exits and trapping Grim with them apart from the other students and staff. Pulling off multiple elemental magic spells and performing swiftly so suddenly after awakening causes Tadhana to be worn out, and two of the housewardens, Azul and Riddle, step forth to help capture Grim and halt its fire attacks. Upon their chase, Grim becomes exhausted after running into the barrier's walls several times, forgetting about Tadhana's spell. Finding the chance, Riddle instructs Azul to step back, to which he responds and persuades Tadhana to follow to watch alongside with the other housewardens, Crowley, and the Dark Mirror. Riddle performs his Signature Spell, Off With Your Head, summoning a heart-shaped locked collar around Grim's neck and sealing its magic away, which will not be removed until Grim is removed properly from the campus. As Grim is locked up by guards, it declares that it will become a Night Raven College student, no matter what. Tadhana feels bad for Grim, causing her to muster whatever energy she has left to cast Cure onto Grim, herself, the Seven Housewardens, and Crowley. Upon regaining her strength again, Tadhana answers Crowley how Grim is not her familiar and had not been acquainted now. Realizing the misunderstanding, Crowley commands the guards to take Grim away. After some small banter, Crowley also instructs the Seven Housewardens to take the students to their assigned dorms to finally relax from the chaos. Crowley is disappointed to state the news of Tadhana's rejection to stay at Night Raven College due to her innate ability to use the same magic that residents in Twisted Wonderland possesses, guiding her to the Dark Mirror to teleport her back to her homeworld. However, the Dark Mirror explains that she is unable to go back home due to her having no existence in this world or time previously before her arrival. Upon seeing the disappointed Tadhana, Crowley suggests going back to the Library to research about anything relevant to Tadhana's homeland, the Isla of Kapalaran. Finding no clues so far, Crowley cuts their late-night tome hunt short to present his latest idea to allow her to stay on campus to allow her to rest and continue the research tomorrow. As they make their way back to the Mirror Chamber, Tadhana decides to go out on her own to search for the Twisted Wonderland version of her homeworld and trace for connections from that world, ignoring Crowley's pleas to wait upon gathering more information and to not create any possible timespace disasters with her magic differing from their own. Eager to find herself back home, Tadhana states her goodbye to Crowley and summons a Keyhole Gateway and her Keyward Armor, riding off into the night on her Keyblade Glider and appearing into a world that heavily resembles her homeland. As days pass, Crowley does his best to focus on maintaining Night Raven College and research more into Tadhana and her mysterious homeland, but he seems to be drawing a blank at every turn. He holds onto the mystic marble known as a Heart Orb that Tadhana bestowed to him before her departure, to which he handed it over to his Staff Raven to hold onto. After a week, the orb begins to glow and fracture, catching Crowley's attention as he feels a sudden urge to follow the faint string of light leading outside his office. Out in the Courtyard, a culmination of strange shadows emerge and start to attack the students. Along with the staff, Crowley does his best to fend off the strange creatures, seeing a gathering of dark clouds form in the sky. A Keyhole Gateway is created through the cloudy sky, and an unconscious Tadhana falls through. Noticing, Crowley catches her and instructs staff and students to retreat into the castle. Before he could make his way into the castle and cast a barrier spell, he is blocked by the Darkside Heartless. Crowley does his best to fend off the giant shadow creature while protecting Tadhana but nearly fails. Before he falls to the Darkside Heartless, Crowley sees the orb glowing, radiating the same color as Tadhana. She reawakens and glows, taking down the Darkside Heartless and the rest of the shadow creatures swiftly before falling unconscious again. Upon her reawakening, Crowley confirms of Tadhana's wellbeing before lecturing her on her recklessness, instructing her to stay at Night Raven College to fully recovery and stick with researching until he fully confirms her presence to be acceptable beyond the campus by officials of Twisted Wonderland. Understanding, Tadhana is coerced to stay at Ramshackle, an abandoned dorm space where only ghosts appeared to take residence in. She meets the three Ramshackle Ghosts, who are appalled to Tadhana not being scared of ghosts, and she explains that she is used to ghosts due to being in worlds. She then encounters Grim again, who bolted into the Ramshackle Dorm the moment Riddle's Signature Spell was dismissed and had been scared of the Ramshackle Ghosts as it struggles to flame them away every time they approached it and teased it. She welcomes the fiery monster to stay, despite Grim claiming that it found the dorm first. Crowley enrolls Tadhana as a proper Night Raven College student, stating this result is so that he could watch over her while contining to help her with her research so she could return to her home in the proper timeline. However, she cannot use her own magic within the matters regarding to natural Twisted Wonderland events to prevent liabilities according to world-and-time-traveling laws. Understanding, Tadhana agrees, believing that the concept of the World Order exists in the Twisted Wonderland realm and wanting to uphold her oath as a Lost Star, she creates a Bonded Chain with Crowley and Grim, calling it a Heartlock Contract that revives the Heart Orbs for both Crowley and Grim to possess in case that Tadhana and her magic is needed. Tadhana then convinces Crowley to listen to Grim, who asks permission to be enrolled as a student as well. However, Grim is denied due to its reckless performance at the Orientation Ceremony, causing some clashes between Grim and Crowley. They are interrupted by some lesser Heartless that appear outside at the Courtyard, to which Grim and Crowley learn that they are called Blights and how they are creatures that emerge from the Darkness that lingers in one's Heart by Tadhana. Grim proves itself the moment it teams up with Tadhana against the Blights, surprising Crowley of the teamwork and obedience they had. Wanting to express more themes like that to other Night Raven College students, Crowley grants enrollement to Grim as a Ramshackle student as a Familiar joint-application, pairing it with Tadhana. After granting them both an official Night Raven Ribbon Tie with the Night Raven Gemstone, both Grim and Tadhana are officially the first two Ramshackle students, with Tadhana as the Ramshackle Housewarden and Grim as the Ramshackle Vice Housewarden.
✧ The Tyrant of Heartslabyul
Tadhana begins to have dreams of previous experiences she has in Wonderland, but she always wakes up, dazed and confused, as she dreams about moments that have not happened from what she remembered. Wanting to keep track of her dreams, she uses a Dream Journal that she finds in an unused room that grants her the ability to revisit the dreams she writes about in its pages. She compares of the events in the Dream Journal with her Lost Star Journal that she got from Master Kaluluwa, trying her best to remember what happened to him, as the final pages from the Lost Star Journal are missing. Crowley gives Tadhana and Grim tasks to tend to the Night Raven campus with assistance from the ghosts and robots so that they are granted access to places like the Library and the Staff Rooms after-hours so both can continue their research, as Crowley and Tadhana learn that Grim also has no memory of where he came from; Tadhana starts to address Grim with he/him pronouns, so Crowley does the same. However, they still need to attend to classes in 1-A as they do these tasks that Crowley assigns to them, to which Grim finds to be unfair and tends to bail out on the tasks - but he is constantly dragged back by Tadhana. At Main Street, Tadhana stares at all of the statues of familiar individuals that she has encountered before, hearing how Grim questions who these people are. A student walks up to them and briefly explains who the Great Seven are to Grim, who then introduces himself as Ace Trappola, a freshman from Heartslabyul. He lastly explains about the Queen of Hearts, how his dorm is based on her Spirit of Strictness, seeing how Tadhana stares intently at her statue. When he asks about if she knew her, just like how she supposedly knew the Fairest Queen, he teases her and calls her a daydreamer, saying that knowing any of the Great Seven personally is impossible. However, Tadhana is unphased by his teasing. When Grim tries to back up Tadhana, Ace mocks Grim for not knowing them at all and for being a monster that was not meant to be summoned. This causes Grim to be agitated and get in a fight with Ace. Before Tadhana could stop them, Crowley ceases the fight after witnessing Ace's Air magic deflecting Grim's Fire magic that burns the head of the Queen of Hearts. Due to vandalism of an important representation of a paramount individual and the failure to stop the fight, Crowley gives punishment to all three to clean the cafeteria after classes and before the lunch period starts. However, Ace skips out, and Grim runs out to get him, making Tadhana to chase after him. They find Ace trying to sneak back to Heartslabyul in the Hall of Mirrors, and they get help from Deuce Spade, another Heartslabyul freshman, who happened to be leaving the Heartslabyul Dorm Mirror. Upon calling him out for skipping on Crowley's punishment, Ace shakes off Grim's and Deuce's lecturing and relunctantly follows them to the cafeteria. Tadhana learns more about Ace and Deuce then notices that Grim is silent and has actually disappeared, now skipping out on the cafeteria cleaning. She gets help from the Heartslabyul freshman duo after hearing that she cannot use her magic due to the restrictions Crowley placed on her with the contract. They find Grim napping in a tree in the Courtyard, causing Ace and Deuce to chase him around as he teases them for being slow humans and that Ace should be the only one to do the cleaning for skipping out first. This causes Tadhana to also join in on the chase, however, the Night Raven uniform dragged her down, so she gradually started to strip from her blazer, tie, shoes, and socks to allow more flexibility to properly hunt Grim down and successfully capture him. The scenario does bring plenty of attention from passing students and staff, including Crowley, who happens to witness Tadhana and Grim running around the Courtyard. Although he is grateful that Grim is captured and not causing more damages to the school yard, Crowley lectures Tadhana on the indecency of undressing in front of boys and lectures on Deuce for "skipping out" and is forced to join in on the cafeteria punishment with the other three. After tending to their punishments, Tadhana learns more about Grim, Ace, and Deuce as they all have lunch together, enjoying their company. As they make their way to their next classes, they are interrupted by a trio of bullies who tease Tadhana and Grim due to their performances at the Orientation Ceremony and the various spots on the Night Raven campus. They challenge them to battle, to which Tadhana finally accepts after the boys' taunts to prevent Grim, Ace, and Deuce from getting into more trouble with Crowley. Recalling the Heartlock contract, Tadhana removes her necklace for Grim to carry as she holds on her own with Kali.

Dreams of Destiny
✧ Prophecy's Plans
Tadhana is found washed ashore by the Cliffside of the Isla of Kapalaran, by three boys: Tiwala, Swerte, and Pagasa. The four of them grow up and become close after the boys' parents, Magiting and Mahalia, adopt her and take responsibility as the main chief family of the village. She learns how to harvest and hunt, as well as learning Kali in terms of defense that every villager needs to learn in case being chosen for the Solstice Rite. A year after Tadhana was taken in by the Abantas's, she experiences the Solstice Rite and the arrival of the Wanderers for the first time at the center of the Village Circle. Since the summer ritual, her curiosity grows about travelers and the outside world, especially upon learning from her family that she arrived on the island seven days after the ritual. Every year, she attempts to know more about the ritual and the Wanderers, and again, she is dismissed by her family, usually by Magiting. Her interest expands out to the other islands of the Propesiyas, gradually venturing further to the edges to see the neighboring islands as she does her harvesting and hunting rounds. She also believes that there are other islands that exist beyond the sea and imagines of seeing them one day, leading her to being curious about her own self and her past, as she does not remember anything prior to waking up on the Isla of Kapalaran. Upon asking many questions, her family continues to dismiss them by redirecting her attention to other tasks to complete for the village and insisting that she stays within the island's borders and not interfere too much with any chief duties to disrupt the peace amongst the islands. This develops certain doubts within Tadhana, building up this urge to go out and seek answers about her past while also listening to the family that saved her and stay on the island. Seven years after Tadhana turns thirteen, she is chosen by the Cor Keyblade and is needed to go along and be guided by the Wanderers to undergo her training as the new Lost Star of Kapalaran for the year. While she is eager to go to see more of the outside world and find answers about her origins, she is also concerned and unsure for not being able to return to her family and her home, as previous children have been chosen and have not returned since then. She formally meets Kararua, the leader of the Wanderers, and the other members, along with the new recruit, Kaluluwa, stating briefly of what she needs to do as a new Keyblade wielder in training. Tadhana turns down their offer, which is unheard of for many centuries that the Solstice Rite has begun on the Propesiyas. As she does not originate officially from any of the islands and does not retain any previous memories before her arrival on the Isla of Kapalaran, Kararua senses how different she is from previous children and allows her to have time to recollect herself before returning to them at the Bamboo Portal by the seventh hour, just before the sun sets, which is another event unheard of before in the history of the Choosing. Tadhana rejoins with her family for her final moments, but Tiwala, outraged and upset that Tadhana of all people was chosen as the new Lost Star, storms out, leading to her to go out and find him. She encounters Kaluluwa, who briefly reminds her that the longer she delays her fate, the sooner that Darkness will purge this world. Still indecisive, Tadhana heeds the Wanderer's words before rushing through the Palm Trees Forest and finding Tiwala at the Cliffside's Edge, defeated at the fact that Tadhana is chosen and will have to disappear forever. She reassures him that she will not go with the Wanderers once Swerte and Pagasa join up with them, the two of them also devastated of her being chosen. However, a dark storm looms overhead, confusing the boys and most of the villagers that the season for typhoons and hurricanes have arrived months earlier than usual. Sensing something is off, Tadhana prepares herself as something rustling from the entrance of the Palm Trees Forest catches her and the boys' attentions, but it turns out to be just a binturong leaping out and tackling Tadhana as it runs from something. Soon, shadow-like creatures that are simply called as Shadows surround them, preparing Tadhana, Tiwala, Swerte, and Pagasa to fight against them, alongside the binturong. After taking down several of the Shadows, a Giant Shadow trudges from the Palm Trees Forest and summons more of the smaller ones as the storm gradually grows worse. Tadhana, knowing how physically and mentally drained her brothers are, steps up and prepares to take on the Giant Shadow herself, despite her brothers' calls of warning. Back at the Chief's Villa, Kararua and Magiting are in disagreement of Tadhana's duties as the village's new chief and the new Lost Star of Kapalaran. The dark storm and Shadows interrupts them to have their focus on protecting the villagers. As Mahalia escorts the villagers to the Bamboo Portal and the other Wanderers scatter upon the Propesiyas to save the other islands, the boys find Magiting and Kararua, all three of them are greatly injured and explaining that Tadhana is left behind to fend off a Giant Shadow so they could escape. After healing them, Kararua briefly explains how defying Fate is what brought these anomalies of Darkness and states that they, too, need to escape the island along with the others. Kararua summons Kaluluwa to go out and bring forth Tadhana to fulfill the Path of Fate. After Kaluluwa finds Tadhana unconscious at the Cliffside's Edge and swiftly defeats the remaining Shadows, he calms the frantic binturong protecting her by taking off his hood and revealing himself. As the storm grows and another swarm of Shadows come from the Palm Trees Forest to attack them, Kaluluwa does his best to fend them off with his Keyblade, Glacier's Grace, until he is struck by lightning, causing him to be paralyzed. Another lightning strikes at the cliffside and a heavy gust of wind throws him, Tadhana, and the binturong off to fall into the raging sea. Tadhana, still unconscious, goes into an unbelievably powerful state that causes her hair and eyes to glow purple, summoning her own Keyblade from her necklace. She casts a strong a strong whirlpool that cradles them safely to the Shores. As more swarms of Shadows approach them, Tadhana swifty eliminates them with flexible attacks that are mixed with elemental spells until they are all cleared, causing her to fall back into unconsciousness. Curious, Kaluluwa carries her towards the Bamboo Portal with the binturong following behind after recovering from the paralysis. Upon arriving at the Village Circle, Kaluluwa sees how Kararua and the other Wanderers surround the remaining villagers and protecting them from the crowding Shadows, with the Bamboo Portal glows faintly and losing its solar power to operate transportation for others to escape. Kararua and the Wanderers notice how Kaluluwa now has a form upon his face and Tadhana, with Kararua believing that the storm should cease if Kaluluwa brings Tadhana through the portal. However, Kaluluwa is stopped upon seeing Tadhana's devastated family and hearing Tiwala crying out to them to give Tadhana back. Before Tiwala could attack at Kaluluwa with his Bolo knife, he is stopped by Kararua, which leads to Magiting to take over and clash with Kararua after nearly attacked. Kaluluwa tries to interfere and is nearly attacked by both until Tadhana switches back to the same state as before to block both Kararua's and Magiting's attacks immediately. The other Wanderers are appalled, as a Lost Star should not have their own Keyblade yet until they are done with the training with the basic beginner's Keyblade, Stardust and the orientation for a Lost Star to be a Wanderer. Kararua recognizes that Tadhana is in the Stellar Shift, a defensive mechanism for gifted Lost Stars. Concerned, Mahalia and Magiting try to go to Tadhana in attempts to have her come to her senses until they are interrupted by Shadows. Swerte and Pagasa do their best to fend them off until they are nearly overthrown by a sudden wave of Shadows. Tiwala notices them attacking and steps in between them, taking the hits and and falls unconscious. This causes Tadhana to notice and become aggressive, charging against the Shadows to eliminate them quickly. Uncontrollably, she unleashes many elemental attacks on the Shadows, causing them and the villagers to be fearful of her. Regaining himself, Kaluluwa reassures the villagers to stay together, with Magiting agreeing and taking control to command and escort them closer to the Bamboo Portal, along with Mahalia carrying the injured Tiwala away. Summoning Glacier's Grace, Kaluluwa helps Tadhana clear off the remaining Shadows, with Kararua advising swiftly to protect the villagers until Kaluluwa calms Tadhana down by telling her that leaving the island will stop everything. Still in the Stellar Shift, Tadhana looks over to her family, the villagers, and her home once more before silently giving in, slowly walking over to the Bamboo Portal and taking Kaluluwa's hand. As she approaches toward the light, she switches back to her original form and falls unconscious once more. Tadhana awakens by a bright light, seeing herself to be in a room she does not recognize, but notices Kaluluwa and the binturong waiting by her bedside. She asks him what has happened and where they are, and he explains of the events that happened on the island, leaving out what happened at the Village Circle. Barely remembering, she worries about everyone's safety, to which he reassures her that they are all safe because she had accepted the tasks of being the new Lost Star. Relieved, she thanks him, resting as per request of him before the two of them prepare themselves to begin her training. Kaluluwa explains that they are in a new world called Lustrare Urbs and tells Tadhana about how she is a special Lost Star, making her unique as she can trigger the Stellar Shift, summoning her own personal Keyblade - Celestial Jewel - and creating the Bonded Chain between them that surprisingly gave him a form and a purpose. Although confused, she agrees to follow Kaluluwa's orders and begin their training at the Library to start off with researching the basics. Although Tadhana cannot do the physical training just yet, she is able to venture around the town after the textbook lessons throughout the week, only in the First through Third Precincts, as the other areas are reported to have Shadows infested and have locals to stay away in the meantime. During this time, she gives the binturong a name - Kasama-sama - and keep each other company after lessons while touring the town. She also grows curious to where he disappears to for the rest of the days after lessons. During a stroll, Tadhana is attacked by Shadows and goes on the defensive as she is unsure on how to summon a Keyblade. As she is cornered, she is saved by Abian, another Lost Star in training, hailing from the Isla of Pagkakataon. Relieved to hear someone else from the Propesiyas, she spends time with him after the two of them are down with training for the day as another week goes by. They each exchanged information from their training, with Abian telling Tadhana about his Wanderer, Master Lagyo, and helping her how to summon her own Starlight Keyblade. After such an achievement, he treats her out to share a glass of Supernova Shavings, a local colorful dessert that reminds them of a delicacy back on the islands. During this time, they stay within the First Precinct only after she reports to Kaluluwa of the Shadow attack in the Third Precinct. The night before her Keyblade Initiation, Tadhana decides to confront Kaluluwa about his recent and frequent disappearances, asking if he is reporting to Master Kararua as Abian suggested to her. Kaluluwa asks why she thought that way and confirms, now knowing that she hangs out with Abian. Wanting her to focus on her training, Kaluluwa agrees with Master Kararua that her progress has determined for her to begin the Keyblade Initiation. She also learns a bit about Kaluluwa's history of his scattered memories before becoming a Wanderer and is given a new outfit for her to wear for her training. The next day, they meet up at the Second Precinct to have her take her physical trials and succeed in her missions to eliminate the Shadows from the other precincts, proving herself to be capable of wielding a Keyblade. Kaluluwa oversights Tadhana and prepares her for the tasks as a Lost Star after granting her with the Soul Brooch, allowing her to possess the ability to use magic and transformation in the different worlds they visit.
✧ Wonder's Wishes
Many of the first worlds that Tadhana and Kaluluwa visit are the Disney worlds, including Robin Hood, Pocahontas, Treasure Planet, and The Princess and the Frog. Nearly every Disney world will be included, either by visitation or reference from summons medals or power chains. Tadhana is taught that worlds cannot be entered at random; they all follow the Flow of Time, so one must enter a world as time allows it, making it possible to go back to a world after going forth from it. This allows her to time travel to worlds whose Path of Fate is already set for them, having her do her main tasks as a Lost Star to eliminate the Heartless and other enemies that act as anomalies to a world's path. In this case, the Disney worlds are divided up by three main categories of the Disney worlds - Disney, Pixar, and Ghibli. Tadhana will visit worlds in chronological order that divide them in three separate galaxies, as stated by their given names. The Disney worlds are also categorized by Eras which determine what time period Tadhana visits. Kaluluwa explains that certain worlds are grouped together in different galaxies to help determine travelers such as Wanderers and Lost Stars to locate and differentiate the worlds and maintain the World Order as they travel and interact with a world's citizens and their laws. At the center of the three galaxies, the cornerstone world, Disney Kingdom, provides at the galaxies' "light" that protects the other worlds in those neighboring galaxies, bearing a vast stronghold of light called Disney Castle, owned by King Mickey and Queen Minnie. Tadhana first encounters them and their kingdom upon opening a door from the world of Fantasia that connects to Disney Kingdom. She only meets Queen Minnie and Duchess Daisy after being found in the Courtyard by Pluto. After learning that she is a Keyblade wielder and is one of the Lost Stars, Queen Minnie suggests to seek help from Chip and Dale to get back to the proper galaxy and continue her missions. Tadhana will revisit the Disney Castle from time to time, with the second time needing defense help from Goofy and the third time needing magic help from Donald Duck, the two of them assisting her in the Mysterious Tower where Master Yen Sid resides and aids in training her. She only encounters past versions of King Mickey in other worlds linked in the Mysterious Tower, such as Toontown, Wasteland, and Mirrorverse. As Tadhana visits each world, she will obtain more knowledge about the different worlds, the laws that follow, the skills physically and magically, and the new friends and enemies that will further her abilities to continue her journey. With the help of Kaluluwa, she learns to wield and use the magical abilities of her armor, the Spirit Brooch, her Keyblade, and the many transformations that allows her to fend for herself, with and without her Keyblade.

• Alyeska Peninsula
- Tadhana's first Disney world she travels to on a mission as a Lost Star.
- She has her first outfit formchange in this world in an Alyeskian Native tribal hunter outfit.
- She witnesses three brothers pursue a mother bear, with the fight ending on top of a glacier.
- She watches how one brother dislodges a glacier and gives his life to save his brothers.
- Unable to step in and help, Kaluluwa explains that this world needs to follow their Flow of Time.
- Kaluluwa explains that she needs to learn how to survive on her own temporarily and leaves her be.
- After fighting and camping in the area, she meets the mother bear and saves her from the Heartless.
- She also meets the cub and watches them leave safely after sharing some salmon with them.
- After a few days, she witnesses one of the brothers hunting the mother bear again on a rocky cliffside.
- Since Kaluluwa isn't there, she attempts to interfere but is too late after a Heartless swarm encounter.
- She witnesses the death of the mother bear and the appearance of The Spirits as a bald eagle.
- She watches how the brother transforms into a bear by The Spirits and is chased by the other brother.
- She sees how the last brother goes after the bear that's his brother, making her go to save him.
- They both fall down some rapids, survive, and are healed by Tanana, the shaman of the brothers' tribe.
- Both are told that the brother bear needs to return to the mountain after atoning for his actions.
- Unable to understand the brother in bear form, she is transformed into a lynx by the Spirit Brooch.
- She learns that the brother's name is Kenai and is told about the mother bear stealing their salmon.
- She is also told about Kenai's resentment to bears after he explains that his totem is the Bear of Love.
- Before she could explain about her necklace and her brooch, Kaluluwa interrupts them as a bald eagle.
- Guiding them into the woods, Kaluluwa explains about special transformations in certain worlds.
- He explains that certain transformations can't allow her to use the Keyblade - has to learn without it.
- They meet the moose brothers Rutt and Tuke; they're terrified of Tadhana at first, as she's a lynx.
- Kenai gets caught in a trap and is saved by the cub, Koda. She does the same and is saved by Kaluluwa.
- Koda will lead them to where the Light Touches the Earth if Kenai escorts him for the salmon run.
- Agreeing to the deal, Kenai and Koda develop a brotherly relationship, reminding her of her brothers.
- While riding on the backs of mammoths, Koda reveals that his mother is missing, making her remember.
- The two are continusly hunted by Denahi, unaware that the bear is his brother, Kenai; she interferes.
- They safely reach the salmon run, meeting other bears, including the leader, Tug; he's wary of Tadhana.
- Kaluluwa tells Tug that Tadhana is not an enemy; she proves by attacking Heartless and saves the group.
- Kenai accepts his new surroundings, is comfortable living with other bears, and enjoys Koda's company.
- During a salmon feast, Koda shares a story about his mother fighting humans on a glacier; Kenai is quiet.
- Koda also explains how a nice girl shared some salmon with him and his mother; Tadhana remembers.
- She notices Kenai being horrified and also realizes that the bear that was killed is Koda's mother.
- Kenai runs away in guilt; she, Kaluluwa, and Koda follows; Kenai confesses to Koda he's responsible.
- Grief-stricken, Koda runs away, and apologetic, Kenai proceeds to journey to the mountain alone.
- Worried for both, Kaluluwa agrees to tend to Kenai so Tadhana can continue to escort Koda.
- She listens to Koda's cries as he misses his mother, making her miss her family; she explains this to him.
- She also apologizes and confesses that she witnessed the whole scene but couldn't interfere in time.
- They witness Rutt and Tuke falling out and reconciling, prompting Koda to forgive her and Koda.
- On the mountain, they see Kenai is cornered by Denahi; Koda runs in to steal Denahi's spear.
- She sees Kaluluwa surrounded by Heartless; she leaps in to save him and fight alongside him.
- She joins Koda and Kenaito defend against Denahi, as his revenge makes him consumed by Darkness.
- Kenai sacrifices himself for Koda, out of love, prompting his brother, Sitka, to appear as a bald eagle.
- Sitka turns Kenai back into a human, surprising everyone, as he properly atoned for his actions.
- Kaluluwa also turns back into a human and prompts Tadhana to do the same; Koda recognizes her.
- As Koda needs help due to his mistake, Kenai asks to be transformed back into a bear.
- After getting support from both brothers and the Spirits' permission, Kenai becomes a bear again.
- Koda is reunited briefly with the spirit of his mother before she and Sitka return to the Spirit World.
- Kenai's bear necklace glows, and it transforms into the Ursus Protector keychain onto Tadhana's belt.
- Kaluluwa explains that certain connections with world citizens will grant her a special Keyblade.
- Kenai and Koda thanks Tadhana for the help before going off to live with the other bears.
- Denahi also thanks her for freeing him from his blinded revenge for Kenai's supposed death.
- Kaluluwa reminds her to see another's eyes and feel through another's heart just like Kenai did.
- She is also reminded of the meaning of true brotherhood and thinks about her own brothers.
- Upon asking if she would ever see her brothers again, Kaluluwa gives her hope that she would.
• Olympus
- Tadhana arrives in Thebes, specifically at the Olympus Coliseum, and notices the Games boards.
- The Spirit Brooch gives her a new outfit formchange as a Cupid outfit and a temporarily flight ability.
- Kaluluwa informs her that the citizens on this world do the Games to find the world's strongest hero.
- Curious, she persuades him to watch, catching eye of an oddly bright guy that seems unbeatable.
- Heartless suddenly arrive and interrupt the Games, and she and Kaluluwa leap in to help the hero.
- After the Games finish, they're stopped by the hero who thanks them, learning his name is Hercules.
- She seeks out advice she could from Hercules until they're interrupted by Phil, Hercules's trainer.
- She winds up convincing Phil and Kaluluwa to train alongside Hercules to learn true strength.
- Along with other locals, Phil and Hercules mistaken her to be one of Cupid's disciples due to her form.
- While training, Hercules explains how he learned that he's a demi-god and is the son of Zeus and Hera.
- He also becomes flustered upon saying that he hangs out with a lady named Meg lately.
- After telling his backstory and his frustrations of being half god and half human, Tadhana consoles.
- Every day after training, Kaluluwa assigns Tadhana to eliminate Heartless swarms throughout Thebes.
- The night before the Games finale, Hercules meets up with Meg, saddened after his talk with Zeus.
- Tadhana continues to train with her new Keyblade and learns to control her Stellar Shift phase.

Disney Kingdom
Disney Kingdom is a world created for the Tadhana's Journey trilogy. It houses the main locations regarding to Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse and other classic animated characters created by Walt Disney. Disney Kingdom is first mentioned in Book 1: Dreams of Destiny after Tadhana finds a door in The Symphonic State, linking both worlds together. After accidentally opening a bridge between both worlds, she has access to the Disney Kingdom going forth, and she only visits the castle when Queen Minnie summons for her. Her visitations usually consist on utilitization improvements for her magic, defense, armor and gear, and synthesization. In Book 2: Links in Time, Disney Kingdom only appears in Tadhana's dreams, which act as visions for her to remember the events of her previous adventure in Book 1. It will be noted in her journal, which all evidence from her previous adventure had been lost upon her waking up in Daybreak Town. Disney Kingdom later appears in Book 3: Twists by Fate, again in Tadhana's dream and is noted in her journal that now has the events of Book 1 recovered but has lost the records of Book 2. This is where she discovers that the mirror in the Ramshackle Dorm is a gateway to a version of Mickey in Twisted Wonderland, providing dreamy reflections of previous events she went through, including the many visits of Disney Kingdom that will soon become a reality for her once more.
Geography
The Disney Kingdom is shown to have the castle and a colorful little town on the topside, with a single celestial tower and a monochromatic, altered version of the town underside the globe. Variants of the world can only be accessed through either Disney Doors or Magic Mirrors once Tadhana finds a connection from each of the Disney characters. There are four main areas that the Disney Kingdom makes up:
✧ Disney Castle
At the center of the Disney Kingdom is Disney Castle, the home of King Mickey, Queen Minnie, Duchess Daisy, Royal Magician Donald, Captain of the Royal Knights Goofy, and other classic animated characters created by Walt Disney that Mickey has entrusted to be within his castle. Tadhana completes a mission in the Symphonic State where she follows Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey through a vine-covered cavern. She finds a glowing white door, opening it and waking up in the Courtyard. She is awaken by Pluto and meets Queen Minnie and Duchess Daisy. They worry of Tadhana being an intruder at first, but upon seeing her Keyblade, they escort her through the Colonnade that connects the Courtyard to the rest of the castle. They lead her into the Library and aid her before she is sent off to continue her missions. Tadhana learns how Mickey is actually the king of Disney Castle. Both Minnie and Daisy guide her down to the Gummi Hanger to meet Chip and Dale to receive advice on cosmic traveling, as they are in charge of storing and maintaining the Gummi Ship, although their help goes to naught when a mysterious portal appears to take Tadhana back to the Symphonic State. She is able to learn more about Gummi Materials and can deliver Gummi Recipes that she finds during her astral transits, as Master Kaluluwa states that they themselves do not have any use for such foreign materials. Upon Tadhana's second visit, she sees Minnie and Daisy at the Library, summoned by Minnie herself when Heartless begin to appear in Disney Castle. She is guided by broom servants and is escorted through the Colonnade and into the Courtyard where most of the Heartless lingered. After getting rid of the Heartless, Tadhana reports to Minnie and Daisy back in the Library before making her leave. Minnie summons Tadhana again, this time explaining that Heartless have taken over the Audience Chamber, where Donald and Goofy were doing their best to fend off the Heartless. After assisting them, Minnie and Daisy introduce Donald and Goofy to Tadhana, thanking her once more for coming to their aid. Hidden below King Mickey's throne is another room called the Hall of the Cornerstone where the Cornerstone of Light is stored safely, to which Tadhana learns that it is used to serve as the stronghold that acts as a barrier of protection throughout the Disney Kingdom and the neighboring galaxies, Disney, Pixar, and Ghibli.

✧ Sorcerer's Arena
Once unlocking every available world in the Disney and Pixar galaxies, Tadhana returns to the Mysterious Castle to unlock a special gateway called the Sorceror's Arena with the help of Master Yen Sid. Here, Tadhana is able to be in a separate world devised by Yen Sid's magic to help her train, along with the characters from the Disney and Pixar worlds that she had visited from. She will be paired with various crossovers of characters to level up her strength, magic, defense, and stamina in Critical Mode. This world's gateway is unlocked by one of the Magic Mirrors in the Mirror Room.
✧ Mirrorverse
Tadhana teams up with the alternative divergent versions of the reoccuring characters from the Disney and Pixar worlds, as both galaxies seem to collide in the universe of Twisted Wonderland. She is able to reconnect with that version of King Mickey and the gang once more through the Ramshackle Mirror that grants her access to the Disney Castle. With every Overblot challenge she fights in at Night Raven College, a particular gateway in the shape of a mirror grants her access to the Mirrorverse.

✧ Abandoned Factory
Tadhana first appears into the world through the Deserted Canyons, and upon seeing a solar surfer, she believed that there was another potential Keyblade wielder in the world. Setting off onto her Keyblade rider from a canyon's cliffside, she flew up to witness Jim Hawkins performing his trust fall and his parkour stunts throughout the abandoned factory.

As the Wanderers are unable to interact with the natural Darknesses originated from worlds due to them not being perceived as an 'anomoly,' the Novas are letting the worlds perish and be able to 'restart' their Fates, free from the Wanderers' control.Through the many years since the upbringing of the Wanderers, the original Novas recruited other Lost Stars that were reported missing or deceased from the Wanderers reports:

In Vol. 2 - Links in Time, the Novas undergo an alias title known as the Constellations during the KHUχ Arc, comprised by some of the Dandelions that Master Ava created as her main role as one of the Foretellers. This is Tadhana's party in Daybreak Town that she joins in order to figure out the rumors of the town being an alternative, digital version of the real world while also searching for any clues regarding to the Master of Masters and Master Luxu and her own memories that have gone missing.During the Dark Road Arc, the Novas are mentioned again under a separate class held in Scala ad Caelum, this time under the alias the Stellar Class, with the students called the Stellars. They are taught by Master Cælestis, an well-known acquaintance of Master Odin, another Keyblade master in Scala ad Caelum. Upon Tadhana's arrival, Master Cælestis requests for her attendance in his class before Master Odin could enroll her into his class. The Novas are once again scattered in Scala ad Caelum when civilization has advanced and the usage of Keyblades are only in use for those within a Society. Upon being integrated into the town's new system, Tadhana is enrolled into the Baroque Society with Remus, Nept, and Freya. Within the Baroque Society, she meets a few other Novas that classify themselves a separate secret society called the Renegade Society. With the members classifying themselves as Astral Drifters, they investigate deeper relations to Warps, Distortions, the Astral Dimensions, and Anomolies and Singularities with Tadhana's help, as she appeared in the town with the closest connections.

Ønske Stjerne
Ønske is one of the deuteragonists of the Kingdom Hearts: Tadhana's Journey series, first noticed by Tadhana in Book 2: Links in Time. They are a Keyblade wielder, first seen in Daybreak Town and soon becomes a member of Tadhana's party, helping her on Lux missions and the underlying agenda of the alternate universe theory. They are originally from Evenfell Town, actually running into Tadhana previously before they meet again in Daybreak Town in Book 1: Dreams of Destiny. Later in the series in Book 3: Twists by Fate, they are guiding Tadhana in her dreams to help her recollect her memories from Book 2.Ønske was 14-years-old in Book 1: Dreams of Destiny, 15-years-old at the beginning then turning 16-years-old at the second half of Book 2: Links in Time and halfway in Book 3: Twists by Fate. The first name Ønske is derived from the Old Norse ósk meaning "wish" or "desire" usually from Danish or Norwegian translation. The surname Stjerne is also from Old Norse, meaning "star" and coming from similar translated languages.

Characteristics
Personality
Ønske can be quite talkative, very emotive and cutesy at the times, but they are also serious about their tasks and straightforward to many things in a bubbly and eccentric manner. They can have the perspective of being alien/robotic to objects and topics that they do not understand, developing a constant curious nature to them. They are a social butterfly that enjoys to interact with many people and is not afraid to present themselves as the brightest person in the room. Many people can see them as obnoxious and tedious to deal with, viewing them to be an overly optimistic attention-seeker, but their sincerity shines through for those that truly matter to them. They tend to be quite flexible - literally and figuratively - in situations, making them a suitable Keyblade wielder that typically mains magic-type attacks. During the pretend date with Tadhana in order to learn what it was like to be in a relationship, many incidents occur to where they were able to immediately come up with solutions, helping her change the air of a tense situation with positive and comedic relief. This also illustrates their quick thinking and adaptability skills.
